A very important victory today for Lazio. Totally disappointed about the episode of the goalkeeper and the goal for a distraction as Zaccagni did not notice the opponent's arrival. I really liked Provedel and Romagnoli  and Cancellieri. They were superb. The first matches are always the most difficult because not all the teams are at their best, those who have championship or cup ambitions are already at the top and try to take advantage to gain some points that would be in the continuation of the championship.

Milan and Inter started the season by winning victories. Milan had a really satisfying performance in offense but I can't say that for their defending. Regarding my favorite team, I think it is still held by the duo of Milan and Juventus,

It is a decent start for Roma to the new season. Maybe they won only 1-0 but they had a big potential to have a more comfortable score as well. Their performance in the first half was great and it went down a little in the second half. This was a risky score for them because Salernitana found more chances in the second half. Roma must be grateful for not conceding the equalizer. The expectations are bigger from them therefore they don't have much luxury to make simple point losses.

It is true that Luigi Sepe's performance was quite good, at least Sepe made 4 important saves, in the end Salernitana only lost by one goal difference.

The problem is that consistency has always been a big enough scourge for clubs in Serie A.

I'm also skeptical about betting on Juventus, it's really hard to predict, but I'm leaning towards +1.5 handicap for Sassuolo @1.68, I feel even if Juve manage to win this match it won't be with a big score, maybe 1-0 or 2-1 and probably won't even win, they have a lot of injured players and that could affect them, and I remember Sassuolo playing really well against big clubs last season.

Milan and Inter are the strongest competitors for other teams this season in Serie A, so I don't think it's surprising if in their inaugural match both teams both managed to come out victorious and get full points, the maximum results they get in that match will certainly increase confidence the players of the Milan and Inter teams and hopefully they will always be consistent when competing in the next match with an even better performance.

I would also say the same for both teams, but I will not ignore Juventus and Napoli about the title race this season. Milan and Inter are very promising as they managed to win their first game of the season but after all Juventus and Napoli might also get the same chances tomorrow because I think the chances of winning both are very high.
As for Milan, this team can always be questioned about the inconsistency of its performance. They could have started well but when they lost it made things worse where they often struggled to get into their form. The goal which was scored by Bryan Cristante would not have come in if there had not been a deflection on the ball. As well as that, Roma had a number of opportunities to score more goals in that match, but they were unable to do so. I think it is forgivable as long as they win the match because it is the first match of the season, so it is forgivable.

In the second half, Paulo Dybala came very close to scoring for the team, but his shot came back off the post. There were a lot of easy chances that Zaniolo missed as well. They could have scored at least three goals in this match if they had played differently. There is no doubt that this is a positive performance for this team in general. We are in first round of this season and good thing happen all top ranked teams won their matches even few were tough but still full three points are enough for them to start new season AC Milan and Inter both are having good time with Roma is also doing better compared to last season. Lazio after having early red card still won their match by 2 - 1 is good for them now in second round they are going to face Torino which is surely an interesting match for both teams with Atlanta is also going to host AC Milan which is early test for both teams after having some tough time in transfer window.
