This season has only played 9 matches and Napoli is only 5 points behind Inter Milan who are at the top of the Serie A standings now so why is it too early to say that it is impossible for Napoli to retain the title.

Napoli showed they could bounce back, but the real test will be how well they can stay consistent. Take the future game between Roma and Monza as an example. Since Roma is playing at home, they should win easily, but Monza has been good this season, so it could go either way. Napoli wants to make it to the Champions League, but their next game against Union Berlin wont be easy. Napoli could lose against them if they arent careful. Union's recent losses shouldnt make Napoli think they are safe when they're not. I am keeping a close eye on these events.
