Again Inter moved back to 1st place with yesterday's win against Lazio with 2:1. And again there is going to be a challenge on 17th Jan. Milan has a lot chance to win against Spezia who is at 16th place but Inter is going to be challenged as its going to be played with Atalanta who is another one of the best top teams being in 4th place. Good to see a healthy competition in every match. Hope Inter keeps up their best performance besides which team they are going to face.

Another day with plenty of goals! This time Torino destroyed Fiorentina with four unanswered goals! Honestly, I thought the visitors could win this match and the bookmakers favoured them with odds of 2.3 against 3.3... It will be interesting to see how Cagliari vs Bologna play tomorrow... For some reason bookmakers are giving them the same odds...

Milan opened the knocking your opponents festival with just 3 goals followed by Sassuolo with 5 then Atalanta with 6 goals! Roma 3-4 Juve and finally Torino 4 goals.
Incredible how many goals were scored this round. The surprising thing is to see Salernitana winning vs Verona, otherwise so far so good for the others.

Roma vs Juventus was by far the most entertaining game in Serie A in recent times! But I also enjoyed the Udinese vs Atalanta match, where the visitors managed to score six goals! In general, yesterday Italy was rich in goals! But most of all I was offended for the Verona loss... It was the last event in my multi bet with odds of 10 and they lost to an outsider Salernitana...

I seemed late, but I saw the match was exciting and made hearts pound. Juve did a brilliant comback. Three goals in seven minutes and the failure of Pellegrini's penalty. Szczesny could guess the direction of the penalty kick and dived juve out of the draw.
In this game, they were unyielding. They were able to take advantage of Roma's panic by making three quick goals. Roma seemed shocked and mentally they went down. Mourinho seemed very angry with this defeat.

Regarding Salernitana they won 2-1 against verona. It was quite a shock to me, but they really persevered and waited. Their ball-ing stats are few but they are more effective.

Last weekend games were quite interesting. Juventus played against Roma and achieved full 3 points. Although, Roma had the chances of equalizing the game, they were given a penalty kick, but Pellegrini probably missed it. While Inter - Lazio ended in victory  to Inter. And it enable them to maintain their position, they are currently 1 point ahead of AC Milan. However, I literally knew Inter were not going to lose. But I expected Lazio to resist Inter. Nevertheless, Udinese was brutally beaten by Atalanta yesterday. Despite playing away, Atlanta scored 3 goals in both halves. Last weekend results was indeed amazing.

By the way yes, Atalanta played a very good match, probably this is my favorite team in terms of attack. They have very good attacking and midline players, I really like that the team is focused on attack and spectacular football. Inter are great, they are confidently holding their position, I expected that they will beat Lazio, because Lazio, unfortunately, this season does not play as strong as always.

They really controlled the game from start to finish. In my opinion for the last few seasons they are one of the clubs that do not have such striking players but their quality is evenly distributed and their synchronization is going quite well.

All teams are producing lot of goals and attacking football, was please with juventus come back against Roma last Sunday. I think Inter Milan will win the league but Milan will give them a little fight but I don't trust them enough to overthrow them in the table ranking.

Torino is always considered in every game they are called as one of the destroyers of strong teams besides that Torino has a strong defense just look at the history of the match
Inter, Napoli, Roma, Milan and Juventus only able to score one goal in the last few games. Torino just lack strikers if they can buy great players I'm sure they can compete in the top 5 unfortunately their finances have not been able to buy great players.

Roma - Juventus game was just an unbelievable game I think. I wonder whether anyone thought about the possibility of Juventus to come back from 3-1 behind. This was an incredible determination from Juventus. They deserve every kind of appreciation. Roma are really a tough team to beat when it comes to making this kind of a comeback. And Roma had a really huge problem on defense after having the 3-1 advantage. Juventus really seem like they have started coming back to their old days considering their results for weeks. But I still don't want to be so sure about it.

That was a nice spectacle yesterday from Juventus, while they were still 3-1 behind. The fact that AS Roma missed a penalty in the match fitted completely into the match image. Losing 9 games from 21 matches played by Roma can be said to be not good enough. Its normal, if many people blame Roma's performance is not so good under Mourinho. The reason is, Roma expects more from Mou to bring back Roma as top 3 Serie-A clubs. we know, after Il Capitano Totti retired, Roma look like losing his life. Indeed, it is not easy for Mourinho to develop players like when he was at Madrid. However, as a coach who has often won trophies, he should have been able to make changes for Roma, even though they didn't win, at least finish in 4th position.

The same thing I think that Mourinho did not take Roma to a good enough even to finish 4th only very difficult points far enough while those above him continued to add points much better than Roma, but indeed the quality of Roma's players was not so optimal so Mourinho can be said not yet capable enough to develop his players.
I doubt Mourinho can bring Roma to finish in the top 4 of the Italian league this is quite difficult for him and against big teams he is not able to.

I mean it is always assumed that Mourinho will get more out of a team, because of his defensive style known, he always has this expectations where he would have very little loss and a very good points per game averages. However we have seen him not be great for a long time, and that is what we are seeing in Roma as well.

If you ask me, Mourinho is done, he is not going to be managing any big teams ever again and he is not going to get too much success at the top level ever again. That is of course what I believe, maybe he will prove me wrong and he will win UCL with another team one day but he is not going to be doing that any time soon.

Juventus had won the legendary match yesterday. They made a great comeback against Roma. There was only one match today, but we watched a great match. Torino beat Fiorentina by scoring four goals at home. Singo, Brekalo and Sanabria scored goals. All the attackers did their job well. Pjaca played only the last ten minutes. Serie A quality has been on the rise lately. In the past, defenses came to the fore, now we can watch matches with plenty of goals.

A bit surprised to see Fiorentina can't score we know Torino have a good record at home but that doesn't mean Fiorentina can't score right?
If you look at the match statistics Fiorentina dominates from all sides unfortunately the striker can't do anything whereas in other matches Fiorentina almost always scores , maybe it's their unlucky day.

There is no point in dominating the opponent during the match if Fiorentina ends up failing to score. 4 of Torino's 6 attempts were scored goals and that was Torino's most satisfying result today. Before the match started I thought Fiorentina would score a few goals in this match, but it turns out that hope never materialized during the match. Either way, maybe they were just unlucky or Torino deserved to win 4 goals today.

This week, the top 5 Serie A teams managed to win in their respective match. We'll just have to wait for the big match next week between Atalanta vs Inter. If Inter lose, AC Milan's big chance to dominate the top standings is getting better.

I really admired Juventus' effort to win against Roma. We don't see this kind of incident very often. But we will see if they will maintain this form. If they can, then they might take the fourth place from Atalanta. And as for Inter, they are just spectacular right now. They had a very difficult game against Lazio yesterday. Lazio fought back well against them actually but still couldn't do anything against a 2-1 loss. Inter are still on a winning streak and have taken the lead again.

Serie A quality has been on the rise lately. In the past, defenses came to the fore, now we can watch matches with plenty of goals.

I cannot agree more. The quality and the scores are getting quite good for Italian league. But maybe we can say that Italian football as general is on the rise and we saw that with their national team as well.

The number of goals per game is on the rise and therefor I think it is reflecting on the bets. We can consider accordingly. As you said, I also think defence was a huge deal in Italy and it made it harder to bet for me. But with this increased quality of football, even betting is more fun and I rather bet on the Italian teams than other leagues nowadays.

I really wonder what team are going to be the one to stop them. On the other hand, I see that they have even a more difficult match up next. It is an away match against Atalanta. We all know that Atalanta are in a much greater shape than Lazio. I strongly believe that Atalanta will end Inter's winning streak.

This is the most exciting match I've ever seen this year. The first half ended in a 1-1 draw. Both teams played well in the first half. But the second half became more enjoyable. Roma took a 3-1 lead in the 53rd minute. It seemed at the time that Juventus might not be able to return to the truck. However, in 70 to 77 minutes Juventus scored 3 goals and took the lead in the match again. Roma then had a chance to score from the penalty spot but they missed. As a result, Juventus won the match 4-3.
