A whole lot has been said bout the move for both Victor Oshime and Romelu Lukaku. It's already taking too long now and they're yet to come to a conclusion. I don't know what development has come out from the recent negotiations made between the both clubs and players but this is what I have read and this is exactly how Antonio Conte and the management of Napoli wants to make this deal done completely. We will definitely see if the swap deal will sure happen.

Former player for Chelsea Billy Glimor has also been linked with a move to Napoli. It could be a done deal and announcement by the club happening soon.

Pre-seas  matches do not and will never determine a club performance on how they will play in the coming season in my opinion. actually in the case of inter Millan being the favorite of winning the Scudetto in the upcoming season for me they are not the one neither AC Milan even though they won most of their pre-season matches winning Madrid, Manchester City, and Barcelona doesn't matter so for me  AC  Milan are not the favorite of winning the 2024/2025 Italian season Serie A. for me the favorite of winning this year Scudetto is Napoli  because they have more potentials and confidence in them than any other club this coming season.

All clubs and agents involved in this deal will have to come to an agreement soon because if they continue to go back and fronts without any resolutions, the deal will collapse and both clubs will be left with players they don't want. Lukaku agreeing to a pay cut is a good move because it shows the club that he's willing to do anything to come play for them but Osimhen is refusing to reduce his own pay cut and that could also be the reason Chelsea aren't putting pressure on the deal.
