Lukaku is really not needed if Osimhen will stay, because by the looks of it they are not selling Osimhen at this point and Lukaku plays at the same position. I get that they still got Lukaku for some reason, I do not consider him all that great at the position neither. Maybe it's just me, maybe things will change, but a 30+ million offer for Lukaku makes no sense to me at all.

Ever since his return from injury, he hasn't been that great and I think he shouldn't be considered as a high priced player. It is not by winning preseason matches but winning the real match. I don't think that this new coach is good because this is not the Milan of last season. At of last last season Milan started the season with a good performance and I don't know it is different this season.

AC Milan have failed to secure a victory in their first two league games of the season despite beating Manchester City during the preseason games and that I think goes a long way to back my claim that results of preseason games doesn't have much effect on a team's performance. I don't want to believe that AC Milan's poor state to the season is caused by the sacking of their former manager because even before Stefano Pioli was relieved of his duties at the club, AC Milan was struggling in their games. The new manager still a have a chance of rebuilding the club and make them become more formidable again and that I to he'll definitely do after losing to Parma.

Milan fans do not regret firing Pioli. But they regret the owner's choice to replace him with Fonsesca. Everybody knew that Fonsesca was a bad signing except for the owners. It disappoints us how the owner was not even picking Sarri, who was still free instead of Fonsesca.


About the game between Milan and Parma, i did not see much of a difference between this Milan and last year with Pioli. They struggled against a low block, disorganized team, and slow pressing. They lacked concentration, too. And slow pressing was the main problem of them. It gave Parma a few chances to counter.

We played even worse under Fonsesca. Though it's a common problem that happens to a new coach, it takes time to integrate your ideas, understand the players, and many more. But i will give him no longer than half a season to judge his performance as a new coach.
