It was a disappointing result on the part of Roma. This was definitely not the result they had wanted because they played very well and dominated the game. Roma deserved to win the game but Monza were able to get a goal back quickly after falling behind to equalize few minutes after. Roma should have defended their one goal lead and priorities getting all three points from the game.

Roma actually played quite well in that match. It's just that they are not very good at taking advantage of the opportunities they have. Como is another team I'm rooting for because of Fabregas. They play good football and they know how to score goals, but their problem is, they concede too much. There has not been any game where they did not concede at least a goal. If a team is going to concede that much, then they should be ready to outscore their opponents. Como obviously cant outscore every opponent, so they need to learn how to be better defensively and not concede goals anyhow. If they don't work on that they might see themselves in difficult position later on.

After 5 years of being acquired by Indonesian owners, I see Como is on the right track. And the Hartono brothers are not calculating spending with Como. In the transfer market this summer, the team has been generous in bringing in famous players. Although only a rookie in Serie A, Como is playing quite well in the early stages of the 2024-2025 season.
But this team has the additional weakness of being vulnerable away from home, and I feel like Como doesn't have enough strength to compete in Serie A. However, with Como's confidence, they are ready to face any team. Hopefully, this big tournament will hone them and give them the experience to become more competitive teams, I think they need more quality signings that will make them improve further.

They also got Alberto Moreno from Villareal but that won't be enough. They need a DM to win the balls and allow Sergi Roberto and Nico Paz to control the midfield more.
The key to defending well is not just having good defenders. While having good defenders is paramount, a good system and setup are also crucial, without that, a team's defence will always suffer. The way the team drops back and defends when they're too with the ball, the way they press quickly to make sure they win back the ball, and the way they close up every possible space when their opponents are with the ball all matter in defending.

Defending in football these days is not left for just the 4 defenders and DM alone. These days everybody joins in, just as everybody joins in on the attack. So even with the right defenders, they still have to get their system right.

Of course Inter Milan is very favored when playing against Roma because both teams are in different conditions, Inter Milan who are in their best form and even they have been quite strong since last season while Roma with all the problems they are currently experiencing and even with their new coach of course will find it very difficult to beat a strong team like Inter Milan.

Roma's biggest problem is in attack, they have a very weak attack. If the coach focuses on signing good attackers in the next transfer window, I think Roma will be able to finish in a good position this season. Because currently they have not lost in the last 5 games, but they have had many draws and in 7 games they have only scored 8 goals. It is difficult for a team that cannot score many goals regularly to become champions. So I can safely say that Roma's management is not bringing in coaches with the objective of being champions, they are settling for reaching positions that allow them to reach the European Champions League. Unlike Napoli, where the management does not care about other positions, they only want to win Serie A and this is a good thing because it makes them create a team with a great motivation to win. This is a transfer we never thought of seeing some day, after a long time outside, Balotelli is currently on the verge of joining a Serie A club which is another competitive league again but this comes with a lot of burden knowing fully that the club interested in him are currently performing poorly and enough will be on him as the last hope for the failing team. Genoa who are 18th on the league table, having 1 win for all 7 matches played and 4 losses, this shows that the team is looking for a player who can best save them from this mess, alone not considering his age, the club continues to be interested. I hope this comes to a conclusion and the results are met following the signing of this player.

Currently Balotteli is without a club, this is not because there is no team that wants him, but from several media reports that I have read, Balotteli reportedly wants to return to a career in Serie A. So that is why Baloteli is still unemployed to this day. So, currently Balotteli's opportunity to return to playing in Serie A is quite big, after Genoa is interested in recruiting him. Maybe if it's true, I'm sure Balotteli won't think long about joining Genoa straight away. The reason is that even though Genoa is currently performing badly, at least there is still plenty of time for Genoa to recover, especially if Balotteli has officially joined. The very striking difference between Inter Milan and Roma, although Roma with its new coach is now slightly better, but when compared to Inter Milan, I think of course Inter Milan is much better, so Roma's chances of winning against Inter Milan are very small.

Maybe because Roma is playing at home, the bookies are not so fond of Inter Milan by giving Odds @ 1.90, but I think it's worth betting on with all the risks involved, but odds like that are worth it.

Balotelli is not too old but his career is falling down since last two seasons, because the latest good season is 2021 - 2022 season with 19 goals. [1]

Genoa are in troubles and their coach used to be a good striker Gilardino who actually understands great skills of Balotelli. Maybe he hope that Balotelli can score some important goals for Genoa and rescue the team in Serie A. Balotelli if play seriously, can make good contributions but through his career, we barely saw that attitude from this player. Genoa wants to bet on Balotelli but I see they will have very low chance to succeed.

Roma have 2 wins in the whole season (and one of them was over Venice). It is clear that Monza is an outsider and Roma should have taken 3 points (since if you don't take them here, then where to take them at all) but still it was an away game and a draw is not the worst result.

I have no reason to call Roma's draw against Monza a good result. Come,on man! Monza is a clown club, is now placed in the relegation zone.

It's very unacceptable for Roma got draw. They spent nearly 100m, like the other club. They should not have dropped two points to a relegation zone team. It's very disappointed they were drawing against a relegation club.

And i have no clues how they’re going to even approach the Inter game soon. It is most probable they will be fully destroyed by Inter.
