Yes, if you look at their meeting record, it is indeed an advantage for them. But I suggest not to be too confident about their meeting record, because every match will be jah different than usual. I'm also actually on Borussia Dortmund's side to win the game, but Borussia Dortmund also have to be careful with their opponents because they can make a big surprise. Moreover, RB Leipzig is one of the strongest clubs in the Bundesliga.

It is weird how Reis turned Schalke into a team with such a strong defense. That is a riddle to me. They started with 1:10 goals after the winter break and everybody thought that this is going the same way it ended before the World Cup started. If they keep going like this even with their draws they will have a chance. A chance which nobody thought they could get close to this season.

Hoffenheim is in a free fall and Bochum are back to losing many games as well after they recovered for a short time. For Leverkusen and Hertha these upcoming games are also essential way markers for the rest of the season. If Wolfsburg loses they can at least temporarily stop dreaming of the Europa League and Leverkusen, in case they are losing, should take care of not getting even lower.

Well, if they didn't had such a terrible start, they could have been out of the relegation zone by now, and they do not have a great roster so they are playing pretty defensively right now and park the bus all game. But that doesn't mean that we shouldn't really expect much from them, it is going to end up being a bit of a tough deal in the end.

I expect the situation to calm down a bit and they will get back to losing again, and they will actually be relegated anyway. However, if they end up being this good for a while longer and somehow manage to stay up, I think next season could be even better for them with some additional players they could have.

This is not really what I was surprised about. They park the bus, yes of course. But I was wondering about the timeline of events in terms of their defensive game. It wasn't like they only conceded a goal here and there and lost because they were unlucky. They conceded loads and loads of goals every game. Out of a sudden they stopped conceding goals altogether for four games in a row and then even won the fifth game, making it five consecutive games without losing. That doesn't usually happen by chance, but to my surprise I saw that it was the same coach conceding 10 goals during the first three games and then he changed something and they conceded 1 goal in the following 5 games!

That is quite an unusual development and this is why I think that they could have a realistic chance to make it happen. At least they can make it to the 16th rank and then get the chance to play against the 3rd of the 2. Bundesliga.

but leipzig could win all last three games vs. borussia dortmund. the last win of bvb against rb leipzig was almost 2 years ago.
so i think it will be a close game and sometime the series are over (no matter if 32 friday games without defeat or no defeat against dortmund for 2 years)
one series will probably end then...

but leipzig could win all last three games vs. borussia dortmund. the last win of bvb against rb leipzig was almost 2 years ago.
so i think it will be a close game and sometime the series are over (no matter if 32 friday games without defeat or no defeat against dortmund for 2 years)
one series will probably end then...

i don't really care who wins. but there have to be a lot of goals. i would prefer a 5:4 or a 4:3. both teams can play well offensively.
maybe we will really see some great goals tomorrow

Regarding Union Berlin, they started the season very well and they are even racing with Bayern Munich and Durtmond while comparing to these two teams they don't have strong teams and they didn't invest like them for this season, so if you ask me I can say they already performed better than we expected from this team so far while they are still on the top of the table with three points less than the first team.

The changes they experience are so fast, they can perform well and on the other hand they also decline quickly, and when they decline they can still improve. This should be a concern for them, because if they manage to make Union Berlin appear consistently I think they will be very old and can be one of the contenders with a great chance of getting the title, but first they have to make themselves consistent first.

Maybe this could be a sign of another lasting bad series for them in the league but we will see. Their next game is a home one against Koln. I can't say Koln are in a good shape at all. As long as Union Berlin don't get very comfortable they should be winning this.

But I still don't expect an amazing effort until the end of the season. They would get behind Dortmund and Bayern Munich quite much at some point. But even if they finish the season in top 4 it would still be great for them.

I still wouldn't call it bad form. They have beaten Ajax in the Europa League with a strong performance. The draw against Schalke can happen, it is ok. The loss against Bayern Munich was expected even though it was a weak performance by Union Berlin. I think it comes down to the next Bundesliga game. If they lose that game I would agree that they are in bad form at least in the Bundesliga. But I think they will show a good game against Cologne.

I think that any clubs (bayern, berlin, leipzig and dortmund) are still in the championship race. Dortmund seems to be a very difficult opponent for leipzig. Even though odds are not having a big gap but dortmund is still far superior compared to leipzig in all of lines. Dortmund's attacking line is far more aggressive compared with leipzig. It can be seen from the previous results in bundesliga. Dortmund consistently winning the game with huge scores against other teams.

It's very bad to say that karem will not be playing against leipzig. It will be also affect the performance from dortmund while nkuku is still giving us a big question about whether he will be playing against dortmund or not.
