I am surely curious about who's going to win with these two teams which is why I am still torn between who I am going to bet, Dortmund is a stable team for sure and they are in the 2nd standing but Youssoufa Moukoko and Karim Adeyemi but they still have Julian Brandt and Marco Reus but because of that injuries Leipzig has a chance in getting the W for this game and this could even become a draw game depending on what may happens, I really don't know if I would bet or not but I will surely know later if I could have some extra left in my account maybe I could bet for 1 team that I like and take Leipzig side because of the Injured players that Dortmund have right now,

@blue Snow in my personal experience predicting matches in Bundesliga can get quite tricky, and further both these team’s often have an tendency to underperform hence it’s really difficult to say who’ll win. Lastly Leipzig will definitely have the advantage due to Dortmund missing their important player’s, but it’ll count to nothing if Dortmund put in a spirited performance against them hence I don’t think one should wager big amounts on this fixture.

I have not been gambling using Bundesliga matches this season until I checked this today, I analyzed the match and see that Borussia Dortmund is very good this season, competing with Bayern again since long time ago, they even have the same point, just that Bayern has more goals. But RB Leipzig is not a bad club either, they are one of the best club in Bundesliga this season. Let us see what would happen, but it is a good thing to go for Borussia Dortmund which have higher probability to win, it is 2.25 odds for Dortmund and worth going for even if lost.

Union Berlin started a bad form for two weeks by not getting any win. I can understand the loss versus Bayern Munich but the one against Schalke that they got a draw was unexpected. Maybe this could be a sign of another lasting bad series for them in the league but we will see. Their next game is a home one against Koln. I can't say Koln are in a good shape at all. As long as Union Berlin don't get very comfortable they should be winning this.

But I still don't expect an amazing effort until the end of the season. They would get behind Dortmund and Bayern Munich quite much at some point. But even if they finish the season in top 4 it would still be great for them.

This is why we haven't seen them start very well because they weren't ready with the roster, but then they figured it out and they are doing a lot better these days which is great enough for them to continue winning with the new founded lineup.

I was very happy when I saw the intense competition in the standings and that was what I expected from the start. Their points gain is the same as Bayern Munich now, their job is to maintain that and wait for Bayern Munich to drop points. But what I'm worried about is that Borussia Dortmund are actually dropping points, and making Bayern Munich in front of them again. To be honest, I want to see this new champion in the Bundesliga.

It seems to me that Dortmund's winning streak has been too long, it's not even usual to see them get so many wins in a row. If they manage to win and come out on top it will be impressive, but I think Leipzig is capable of taking points from Dortmund today, I even think they can beat them. No matter how strange it may sound, but be on the first place for Dortmund this is an unusual thing.

However, it seems that Dortmund have a slight advantage because they are playing as the host and it is unlikely that Leipzig will relax their attacks to suppress Dortmund's defense in this match. If we look at the second H2H, it is very clear that Dortmund is very superior to Leipzig. I think the match will be won by Dortmund, even though the chance of a draw is still open but I think it's quite unlikely.

I think it makes totally sense to see a team as a serious contender for the Bundesliga title, if they have the same amount of points as the current leader of the table and if they are also having 9 consecutive wins at the moment and therefore probably the biggest momentum of all the clubs in the Bundesliga. That being said, i am still skeptical about Borussia Dortmund, yes they have won all their games so far after the winter break, but i watched most of them and in at least 4 of them they were definitely not the better team and only managed to win because they were very lucky. So at the moment everything is going in the direction of Dortmund if this changes they will have some draws and losses again pretty fast.

Agree that Leipzig is not a weak team and if they were a weak team they could be in 4th place on the table racing with other teams they could even get a draw and a 1-1 result from the game they had against Manchester City in Champions League after they beat Eintracht Frankfurt with a 2-1 result in the other hand Dortmund win all the recent games they had and they are recently racing for the first position of the league which can make this game very interesting.

Leverkusen's only chance to do a good work is the Europa League now. But they have really tough opponents there at the same time. Their chance of even reaching the final is still doubtful. Their performance against Monaco was quite mixed. They played different in the first and second leg. All they need is consistency in not only the Europa League but also the Bundesliga of course. They have made progress since Alonso's arrival here. At least they have made the gap with the relegation zone safer.

But considering their squad quality they can do much better than this. Maybe their chance of reaching the sixth position is not much high but they can at least get near there and finish the season better. They need to improve their defending the most as their scoring productivity is good now.

It is weird how Reis turned Schalke into a team with such a strong defense. That is a riddle to me. They started with 1:10 goals after the winter break and everybody thought that this is going the same way it ended before the World Cup started. If they keep going like this even with their draws they will have a chance. A chance which nobody thought they could get close to this season.
Hoffenheim is in a free fall and Bochum are back to losing many games as well after they recovered for a short time. For Leverkusen and Hertha these upcoming games are also essential way markers for the rest of the season. If Wolfsburg loses they can at least temporarily stop dreaming of the Europa League and Leverkusen, in case they are losing, should take care of not getting even lower.

Well, if they didn't had such a terrible start, they could have been out of the relegation zone by now, and they do not have a great roster so they are playing pretty defensively right now and park the bus all game. But that doesn't mean that we shouldn't really expect much from them, it is going to end up being a bit of a tough deal in the end.
I expect the situation to calm down a bit and they will get back to losing again, and they will actually be relegated anyway. However, if they end up being this good for a while longer and somehow manage to stay up, I think next season could be even better for them with some additional players they could have.

Schalke is actually improving a lot. But the problem is they are very deep in the relegation zone right now. They are the team which is absolutely at the bottom. So of course it is going to be really hard for them to get out of the relegation zone. But at the same time, they are improving. So it is not going to be surprised if they do end up getting out of the relegation zone.
