We do not know what is going to happen until the season stars and they play a few games.

I also think that the squad of leipzig will probably be slightly weaker than this season. I read rumors that they want to sign Lacroix of Vfl Wolfsburg and that they are also interested in Danso from FC Southhampton even if they get one of those players or maybe even both then that is still not enough to compensate for the loss of upamecano.
Marcel Sabitzer apparently also wants to leave the club to go to Manchester United but i can not imagine that Leipzig lets him go as he is pretty much the the most important player in the whole team. He has a contract until the end of next season so if he really wants to go and will not prolong his contract than leipzig will get nothing from him next season.

Going from Bayern Munich to the national team is not really a promotion to be honest... It is the most relaxed job on planet earth as Flick gets 5 million + bonus per year, but being the head coach of Bayern Munich is more meaningful. Being a national coach is pretty cool, especially if the majority of your players comes from Madrid, Bayern, premier league clubs and a few exceptional guys from Dortmund. How much do you even have to contribute as a coach then? When Germany won the World Cup in 2014, I'd say that Heynckes from Bayern Munich had as much responsibility as Löw. There was no need to motivate the team. The team was crazy after first losing the CL final in 2012 at home, then winning the triple in 2013 in an unbelievable way and then the World Cup. Löw could more or less lean back and sniff his fingers (if you remember! ).

I don't know if it is that drastic as you describe it. Winning the Championship (as the last 9 years have shown) is almost impossible anyway. I still see them as a top 4 candidate. They have a good balance and not too much is happening really. They lose two players I believe? Upamecano and Konaté. Yes that is tough but still they have a competitive team on the pitch against teams like Leverkusen or Gladbach. They may not be able to compete as well with Dortmund and Bayern, but against the other teams they are definitely strong enough.

I absolutely agree with you. I also think that RB Leipzig's financial resources will keep them in the top four. Dietrich Mateschitz will continue to ensure that RB Leipzig has access to enormous financial resources. The main goal is still to win their first Bundesliga title. In addition to that, with RB Salzburg they have a club from which plenty top talents will also move to RB Leipzig within the next years.

True leipzig team good performance is due to their team play not individuals but still the departure of major players will affect them deeply because this year they had a great chance to the title since bayern droped many points but leipzig were instable and lost many home points and next year will be more difficult for them.

Haha, you're right, This is what makes me less enjoy the bundesliga, Very boring, every season is almost completely dominated by Munich. There hasn't been a team that has really been consistent to interfere munich's chances so far, maybe there is a surprise other clubs can be champions, but in the following season they can no longer defend the trophy and the title return to munich, and so on. Munich has not won 1-2 seasons at most, then they get the trophy again.

There is never a thing like Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga and could not be with the rate of slow progress on the parts of the available teams ta the moment. Bayern Munich is just too good for there present league Bundesliga. There is apparently zero competition for them and as such, you don't see them putting in there best everyday else, it becomes ridiculous. The only teal that could have posed some sort of challenge would have been Leipzig but then, inconsistency when they are close to being an actual threat always makes them drop.

This is very true of Borussia Dortmund. At a time they used to be one of my teams for taking a win bet in the Bundesliga but now, I just don't know how they got so wasted. You can never predict them, they loose the unimaginable games. So bad! Funny you had to bring in the Arsenal analogy, lol.
