Nobody expected such a result, but bookmakers have certainly earned today for expensive gifts for the December Christmas..  

Is surprising on how Bayern Munich had over 80% ball possession, but wouldn't win or even a draw the match. After the first half ended with Augsburg leading with 2-1 score. I literally thought and also expecting Bayern to bounce back and probably win the match in the second half. Only for it, to end in goalless draw. Augsburg will really be proud of  beating the almighty Bayern. Well, this is Football and anything can happen. But, I think this is a good opportunity for Dormund to draw more closer to Bayern in terms of point gap. If they win against Stuttgart tomorrow, Dormund will then surely be just a point behind Bayern Munich on the standings.

80% possession against a team in the regulation spot should mean they can at least two right?! but that's not what happened, Dortmund are now getting closer to Bayern Munich after this loss, and I thought Bayern won Bundesliga early this year, if Dortmund wins against Stuttgart tomorrow, they will be 1 point behind Bayern, they have to win to close the gap and take advantage of Bayern's situation.

We get results like this 1-2 times every season in the Bundesliga. The only problem is that other title contenders like Leipzig and Dortmund always fail to take advantage of opportunities like this to close the gap. I hope Dortmund wins though since I'd be picking them as one of my selections. Dortmund us in the habit of dropping points when you're "really" expecting them to take all 3 points.

I feel that the international break played its part and that’s why Bayern lost this fixture, and maybe we should consider doing a case study to see if the favourites often lose post the international break.

I myself was quite surprised to see the Augsburg Vs Bayern Munich match, as it was impossible and should not have happened to Bayern Munich. Augsburg played under pressure from Bayern Munich but managed to win, which confuses me even more that all the goals came in the first half. Why can't Bayern Munich reply even 1 extra goal in the 2nd half?

The big teams in the league usually have the most players that represent their countries, so most of their players are usually on duty during the international break, and it's very possible they can return a bit tired and might need an extra couple of days to start playing at full strength, but mind you that big teams do not always lose post international break, there have been a lot of international breaks this year already, and I don't think Bayern for example lost every game they've played immediately after the international break. Bayern lost this game cause Augsburg was prolly the better side, no need making excuses for Bayern and trying to play down the impressive feat by Augsburg.

Augsburg are extremely Stubborn, holding down Bayern Munich attacking force,they were up to grab the three points, scoring two goals against Bayern Munich and still defending isn't such an easy thing for a team to do, stats tells they have won three to four matches at home despite bad results.

He should have known better by now, immediately after International breaks and international duty calls,big teams end up getting bad results as a result of fatigue.
Big team with smaller odds, higher chance of winning games ends up lossing them.

One thing I love about bundles liga is it's competitiveness. Unlike some other leagues where games can be easily predicted it's a bit more difficult in bundles liga. I have been observing Freiburg, and am impress with their performance. They ended last season at the 10th place, But they are doing greatly this season. They have high chances of ending this season at the top 4 and probably gets a ticket to Champion League next season, that is, if they maintain their performance. Nevertheless, they are presently as the 3rd position and 3 points ahead of Wolfsburg. While they have a home match tomorrow against Eintracht Frankfurt. And am sure, Freiburg will definitely win in the match.

Bayern were very unlucky in the final stages of the attack, judging by the statistics. 16 shots and only 4 of them shots on target, 10 corners. Probably the players were tired after the matches of the national teams and this affected their concentration. Talking of last nights game i really didn't see them dropping all three points at the hands of Augsburg considering the form they were in, but that's the game of football... you cant win everything! Coming back to Borussia Dortmund, this might look like an easy 3 points for them, but they just have that thing like the team gets jinxed and fail to collect the needed points to close the gap which is the pressure they usually fail to contain and playing from home might actually work in their favor.
