I'm not expecting Leipzig to have big difficulties in defeating Monchengladbach today. It is because Leipzig are going to play against an aimless team while they are competing for the third spot in the standings. I think that it is sensible to bet on Leipzig's victory so I will do so. Maybe they wouldn't get a very easy win but the important point is to win this one way or another for them. And I guess Leverkusen would manage to answer them by another victory too. They are the owner of the third spot currently and they would keep it by this week too.

I think Monchengladbach has an aim to stop the opponents they will face from getting a place in the Champions League. Well at least they won't let Leipzig win so easily against them. However a team would definitely not let their opponent feast on the victory in front of them. Although they don't have a ranking purpose as you say.
