Bayern also has a match vs Red Bull Salzburg, in a friendly match, before starting their first match in the second half of this season to travel to the Red Bull Arena, Leipzig's headquarters. just because of Neuer's absence, it's not a big problem for Nagelsmann's squad after all they are still strong and difficult to overthrow their opponents in the Bundeliga. My concern is more about Sadio Mane's injury, so far there is no certainty about his recovery.

Friendly matches are useful for Bayern in these days to test their substitutions for a vacant position of goalkeeper. Ulreich will still be their first choice but other goalkeepers will do have their chances to show and compete with Ulreich.

Yes, I think so too. According to various media Bayern Munich seems to be focusing on Sommer. But Mönchengladbach will only let him go once they have found a replacement for him. But with the prospect of a lot of money it is of course easier to get a new goalkeeper.  But this new goalkeeper will probably also have to be bought out of a current contract.

The Champions League comes first in this list and DFB Pokal is also there. They have five Bundesliga and one DFB Pokal matches before the Champions League restarts. They need to be targeting the maximum points and best results they can in these ones. Of course there are going to be really challenging matches against teams Leverkusen and Freiburg as well. But they will need to be extra careful in those ones.

Leaving all of these matches with decent results would be big morale for them before their Chelsea matchup. They will need motivation a lot there because Chelsea are already favoured by bookmakers.

It's a shame that Dortmund has such a poor performance, we can't deny that Dortmund now has a lot to do, and if that's the case, the streak should improve, the Bundesliga is the best way they have to get ahead, I wouldn't think of anything else more but in a recovery of the team, however we could think that they will not put aside everything they should do with respect to the business they have with their signings, it is known that now Dormtund has been having a very good business training some players elite, and that may be their premise, although I still don't understand it very well, but each team does what they want and how they want, only they should focus more on winning.

I personally really don't believe Dortmund can do this, because to compete in the Bundesliga alone, the reality is that Dortmund cannot be a strong team.
What's more, the opponents in the Champions League are teams that are very consistent in building their teams to be better in all competitions. So no matter how much effort Dortmund put into the Champions League, the reality is that they will never achieve the best results. Dortmund has no chance in the bundesliga. It would better for dortmund focusing the UCL. It will be facing an easy team like chelsea. The performance from dortmund's opponent in the domestic league was so bad. Hallter can focus with it to help dortmund to win the first leg against chelsea. Dortmund will be losing more players and i think that the management aware about the chance for dortmund to win the league was so small at this moment. Why does dortmund need to focus in the domestic league while it can get good achievement in the UCL?

Dortmund vs Chelsea, it was a tough game and I wouldn't dare say Dortmund will manage to lead the way home for Chelsea this season. Even if Chelsea aren't in their best form, then I think the EPL team is way ahead of Dortmund so far. I'm not underestimating Dortmund, but they have been inconsistent as well. Look at the stats in the league, I don't think they are any better than Chelsea. So I hope Chelsea really proves itself capable of providing competition in the round of 16 this season.

It seems like that bayern has a better option for the goal keeper to replace neuer. Bayern's movement is really unpredictable for sure. I indeed agree with your thoughts on Sheraldo Becker's situation at Union Berlin. It's clear that he's been having a pretty impressive season with Union, scoring 7 goals so far. And it's ofc no surprise that other clubs are taking notice of him. It looks like especially Premier League club Nottingham Forest seems to be interested to buy him for €15m (a fair price IMHO).

While Becker has stated that he plans to stay with Union Berlin for the rest of the season, I believe that if a big European club comes in with an offer, it would be wise for him to consider it (dunno if Nottingham is the right choice, but a EL or CL club would change things dramatically IMHO).

As you pointed out, Becker is already 27 years old and it would be a great opportunity for him to play for a higher-level team and show off his talents on the bigger European stage. Additionally, with his contract set to expire in 2025, it's also worth considering his long-term career goals. Staying with Union Berlin may seem comfortable rn, but there's always a realistic possibility of the Union's performance declining in the future and that could limit Becker's future opportunities (to be fair, I really doubt that they will be able to continue this amazing run, but you never know).

Even if there is Sven Ulreich who is actually able to guard the goal for Bayern, they still have to have at least one goalkeeper they have to bring in now.
Neuer will obviously be out for a while with a broken leg but on the other hand only bringing in 1 goalkeeper in the match will obviously be a bit of a problem even if they are strong.
Bringing one more goalkeeper to minimize when there is an injury or a red card for a goalkeeper is clearly needed in this case so I think for this transfer they will still bring a goalkeeper in any case.

Ulreich isn’t that bad as a goalkeeper but a team like Bayern Munich cannot use just one Goalkeeper it is a big risk or gamble for them so they need an experienced goal keeper to back up Ulreich. Those Shot stoppers you mentioned would be hard to get because of their respective clubs. Rumour has it that Bayern have turned their attention to Mochengladbach Yann Sommer. He is very good shot stopper and also experienced, Bayern themselves have a taste of his brilliance. Considering his age and contract running out he is a better choice coupled with the fact that he has both champions league and Bundesliga experience. The reported fee is said to be around €10m which Bayern can negotiate on. Overall he seems a fair deal to me

Sheraldo Becker is seriously having the best season of his career. He became union’s pointed man since the departure of Awoniyi and he has filled in well. His connection with fellow strike pattern Jordan Shebatchue has been excellent and there is no doubt that clubs have started showing interest in him. I also like the fact that he said himself that he is committed to Union Berlin because this will ease pressure on him for the second half of the season. The only thing I feel he can do is to carry on from where he stops and charge Union Berlin to the Champions League and he might land him self a better offer from other big clubs in the summer. This winter transfer will seem too early for him.
