Leverkusen's performance this season is pretty incredible, especially considering they finished 6th in the 2022/23 with 8 losses and a goal difference of only +8, compared to the current of +48.

I feel Bayern Munich is in a situation in which they have really no idea what do to. Currently, they started working with Tuche but they could not get the result they wanted to get and they are losing the Bundesliga title. Also, the contracts of many players are about to end but since they have no idea and no plan for the next season they can't make decisions and extend the contract of these players to keep them for a longer time in the team.
For example, Eric Maxim, he is a player who had good performance in any game they gave him the cahen. When Robert Lewandowski left the team he took the place of Lewandowski in Bayern Munich. Still, after Harry Kane joined Bayern Munich, he lost his the place and everything changed for him, now he wants to leave at the end of his contract but I think if Bayern Munich gets another coach there is a higher chance for Maxim to stay for a longer time.

Christian Streich has been working in Freiburg for 12 years and he started his work in 2012 which is a long time for any coach. Freiburg had some coaches like him who worked there for years, Streich was in Freiburg for 12 years but Volker Finke was working in this team for a longer time. Volker Finke was working in this team from 1991 to 2016 for 16 years. Streich needed four more years to break his record.
He confirmed that he is leaving the team at the end of this season and he said it's time for him to leave and let the new faces show up in Freiburg.

Bayern Munich always has a way to weaken his opponents and he is also racking his brains to weaken any club that stands in his way in the title race in the Bundesliga. I also have the same thought as you that he will probably have one that makes Leverkusen strong at the moment and according to The most prominent one for me is the Leverkusen coach. Bayern Munich already has good players but they don't appear as solid as Leverkusen and this also cannot be separated from the role of the coach, maybe if Bayern Munich had a coach like Xabi Alonso Bayern Munich would feel the same way and maybe Bayern Munich would have a big chance of winning the Champions League title too because he has a great striker and adequate players in all lines.

To keep winning in the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich's main recipe is to make sure their opponents have no good players who could carry their team, and the bad thing if there was no other club to do the same thing as Bayern did. They've got the money to buy out their competitors' best players, but Leverkusen is not worried about it.

Xabi has made a lot of changes to Leverkusen's players and im sure they are very loyal to the club, and I don't think Leverkusen players would like to leave the club if they have the chance to win more trophies this season. Most likely this will happen and cannot be avoided by many teams, so far Bayern Munich is like PSG who make money as the main weapon in building their squad, so far no team has refused when Bayern Munich wants to recruit players from the team because indeed Bayern Munich comes with offers and money that is difficult to refuse by teams in the Bundesliga,  It looks like what you said maybe we will see at the end of the season later, how Bayern Munich money power will be able to conquer some of Leverkusen's main players later.

Yes, they're still in the running. Bayer Leverkusen controls their destiny and could potentially achieve the treble. If Xavi eventually wins the bundesliga, he should just find a suitable club and move to but it shouldn't be another bundesliga team in respect to Bayern Munich. He should also test his coaching skills with other clubs because that's what brings out a coach professionalism just like Pep Guardiola.

I read that Alonso was invited to Bayern even earlier, but he refused, saying that he was not ready for this yet. I think everything is obvious here, Bayern is his former club, he knows the Bundesliga well, the team has good opportunities to realize any ambitions, and in my opinion Bayern once wrote that they are making progress in negotiations with Alonso. Everything will depend on Alonso's decision, does he want to try coaching a Premier League team, or will he be comfortable continuing to work in the Bundesliga? It seems to me that Bayern would be a more acceptable option for him.
