I really do not see Bayern Munich to be favorites over Bayer Leverkusen in this match considering what played out last season, moreover the Leverkusen side are not doing really badly this season except for the fact that they lost against leipzig and ever since they have been consistent in winning almost all their matches including their champions league match.

Bayern Munich on the other hand have been enjoying a winning streak so far this season and haven't lost yet and seem ready to contend for the title this season but would have to steal all 3 points from the Leverkusen side which also seem to be a very tedious task for Bayern Munich based on how resilient Xabi Alonso's side have been all the way from the previous season even up to this season.

This game will be among the most eagerly awaited by football fans, given both teams' performances this season. Bayern Munich has once again shown their might with a seamless game; in fact, they have gone back to being termed as a slaying team. Win after win placed them at the top of the table, all set to battle for the Bundesliga crown. However, Bayer Leverkusen is not to be underrated. While they had a lukewarm start to the season, they crept up surreptitiously and are now stationed at number two, a clear indicator that they mean business. This makes it difficult to predict whether either toughness or consistency prevails in Xabi Alonso's team; hence, making this game even harder than before! The victor in this game will consolidate his place at the top; therefore, competition in Bundesliga will be even more intense.

Oh yeah, talking of increased intensity that we now have in the Bundesliga it is an atmosphere I really love that it's playing out this way with Bayern Munich now not feeling comfortable about winning the league seamlessly. Prior to this time in recent seasons before the Bundlesliga season kicks off we would all have already concluded that Bayern Munich was going to win the title due to their unrivaled dominance of the league but Xabo Alonso has made a game changer in the league making Bayern Munich's chances of winning the title a matter of serious debate. And I think Brussia Dortmund should also take the bull by the horns and intensively join in the race as favourite so it doesn't look like a Leverkusen and Munich race only.

For now I can only see Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen as the only contenders for the title this season. It's quite unfortunate that Borussia Dortmund have really fallen from where they used to be years ago. Had it been that Borussia Dortmund were still as strong as they used to be the Bundesliga would have been more and more interesting because more competition for the league is what we would have seen. But it's still good that at least there is a team that's actually giving Bayern Munich restless night.

Brussia Dortmund have had their best moments anyway and it was interesting while it lasted, the problem with Dortmund is in their fashion of giving away their best players of the season to other clubs therefore losing their form in the new season but Leverkusen where never in a hurry to sell nay of it's key player's because they want to maintain their relevance and the bar they have set for themselves in the league for a long time. Maybe if Brussia Dortmund could maintain same set of players for a 3-4 seasons without selling out but rather bringing in few quality and talented players to add to their team then they can consistently major up in the title race with not just Bayer Munich but with Leverkusen too.

What's interesting to me now is that Kompany has risen to the occasion and is doing everything possible to keep Bayern Munich at the top. When he was appointed many really thought that it will take him a season or two to adapt, but that has not been the case as he has blended immediately and making the league more interesting to watch.

I think we really have to give it to Vincent Kompany he deserves some respect for casting all of the doubts many fans had about him becoming the Munich head coach.  With the way he has handled the team since his arrival to the club we can see some improvement with this Bayern team which is why Xabi Alonso side would really have to double the quality of their game to be able to withstand Bayern Munich's rebound. We still have interesting times ahead though.

I agree with you this season Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen are top teams competing for Bundesliga title. It is sad that Borussia Dortmund is not as strong as they used to be. Right, it means this is the season we have been waiting for where the competition in the top four of the standings will definitely be very tight, and then we will see the two big teams compete, honestly I can't be sure who will go home with full points, but if we look at the other side of the match then Bayern Munich has a big chance to win because they will play at home against Leverkusen next Saturday.
Their points difference is quite thin which means of course there is no reason for Kompany to make the slightest mistake which will be even more painful if they are embarrassed at home.

And for Leipzig I thought they would be able to beat the promoted club but it turned out that Leipzig couldn't do anything and even failed to score a goal so there was nothing interesting in this match because both teams only got a goalless draw.

Although I don't usually watch Stuttgart matches, seeing their performance in the Champions League against Real Madrid, I realized that Stuttgart had strong players based on how they played against Madrid. So I avoid the game against Dortmund because they might come up with a surprise or Dortmund might defeat them because they also won their Champions League game against Club Brugge. However, the match ended with a shocking result, Stuttgart defeated Dortmund 5:1, which surpassed our expectations, sadly Guirassy equalized for Dortmund and lost to his former club. Dortmund is losing an important point needed to be among the top four teams this season.

However, Leipzig shared a point against a team that was promoted this season, I also lost my betting because I believed Leipzig would win the game despite the interesting odds. Leipzig dominated most of the game, with 70% of the ball possession and 5 of their 10 shots on goal, but they were unable to score any goals.

But what I know is that Dortmund's performance is better than Stuttgart's so I thought Dortmund would beat that club or at least get a draw but who would have thought Stuttgart gave an unexpected surprise with the many goals they scored even though they lost Guraissy and they met again as their opponent they did not waver at all and gave quite a fierce fight until the end.

I also do not understand why Leipzig only got a draw in this match even though their opponent is a promoted club even though in the previous 2 matches when playing with Leverkusen Leipzig could beat them should have played a weak club like St. Pauli Leipzig could be better.

Their current unfavorable ranking could be because of their less than optimal performance or because the strategy they are playing is not working well. It is difficult for them to be at the top of the standings because the points they have are quite far from the teams at the top of the standings, but with their journey still far away I think they can still improve their ranking including their performance such as the strategy that may need to be changed because I think the strategy they are currently doing is not suitable.
I didn't think they would be defeated by Stuttgart but in fact Stuttgart beat Dortmund by quite a large score, this is quite a big defeat for them, with their next match which will face Bochum I think they can win, as long as they can learn from the mistakes that occurred in the previous match which made them lose badly.

Yes and I also got to see most of the predictions in favor of Dortmund.  But Stuttgart's speed and strength won the match and defeated Dortmund by 4 goals.  He scored 5 goals and kept Dortmund from scoring a lot and took the match.  If Dortmund had somehow scored 4 more goals, the match would have been a draw, which would not have given them defeat.  Defeats keep happening, but they should not lose this record.  And if you will prove the coach wrong in this, then it is wrong because in the match they had to play and the coach only made them an experimenter and those who win the first match win because of this coach.  And in that they will lose because at the moment Real Madrid is very strong and the power to win more matches.  And I will write victory in their favor.  Yes, in such a long time they will improve themselves and become strong enough to enter the Eurozone.

I don't think Leverkusen can repeat last season's success. Bayern Munich needs to do better than last season. I think Munich will play better this season and achieve their goals in the league. They started the league with 4 wins and the way they are playing makes the fans happy.

Kompany needs to prove himself and make the fans love him. I wonder how Kompany will make the team play in the big games because passing the test depends on getting 3 points in the big games.

I agree with you this season Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen are top teams competing for Bundesliga title. It is sad that Borussia Dortmund is not as strong as they used to be. But Leverkusen has improved greatly under their new coach Xabi Kompany. He has done great job making Leverkusen real challenger to Bayern. This makes league more exciting to watch. Hopefully Dortmund will bounce back and make competition even stronger.

Dortmund's last match against Stuttgart was beyond prediction. I think Dortmund played very poorly at that time. The strategy planned by the Dortmund coach did not go well. The record was finally broken after 4 matches.
