Heidenheim Vs Borussia Dortmund is the game I'm going to be looking out for, Dortmund has been in bad shape for some weeks now, although they sacked Nuri Sahin just last week, the new coach won a game over the weekend in the Champions League. Let's see what he has install for Dortmund, I really hope he can take Dortmund off this current mess they are in and get the win today for them.

But I didn't say Borussia Dortmund has bounced back because of their Champions League win in mid week. He has to start from somewhere and I think a relegation team like this should be a starting point for him to start getting the wins and preparing his team for future games. Just as I predicted, Dortmund game to be GG and ov 2.5 and currently they are playing 2 - 1 in favour of Dortmund though.

Finally a win by Dortmund! They got a 2-1 win over Heidenheim today. They had to wait for 4 weeks to get that... Niko Kovac has a lot of work to do. By the way as a reminder, he is starting tomorrow. Mike Tullberg managed the team today as well.

What should I say for Bayern Munich? I really wonder how they managed to concede 3 goals while they were 4-0 ahead.    2 of them came in the stoppage time. I can't imagine the frustration of people who bet on Bayern Munich Handicap 0:1 or 0:2.

Gladbach's beating Stuttgart away was an unexpected one too. I didn't bet on this game. But if I did, probably I would go for a safer bet such as BTTS which happened here.

I feel for Harry Kane, such an elite forward like him doesn’t have any trophy to show for his career. I think he has a chance of winning a trophy this season with Bayern Munich as they are leading in the standings but if they want to secure the first place position permanently, they will need to avoid any complacency to be able to achieve it.

It seems that what Kane hopes and dreams almost come true this season, Munich only needs to be consistent at least 12 matches swept clean with victory and if they are able to do it then the Bundesliga title will be theirs again this season. A fairly tough match for them is the match against Leverkusen, if Bayern are able to get through it with a draw, let alone win, it will further solidify them towards the trophy this season. Today Bayern Munich won over Kiel, Kane scored 2 goals and solidified his position as the top scorer for the time being by scoring 19 goals. It seems difficult to catch up with Kane's current goal record, because other strikers are far below him. As for Omar Marmoush, he only scored 15 goals and has now left to play in the Premier League. Talking about Bayern Munich this season, it seems that the League title is quite close to them. However, consistency must be their priority, especially since Leverkusen is still shadowing them with a points difference that they can still catch up with if Bayern loses in several of their matches. Well, Leverkusen will play their match tomorrow, if the result is a draw or they don't get full points then Bayern Munich will be at a huge advantage.

From the beginning I did not hesitate to say that Bayern Munich could end this match with a win, especially since their opponent was Holsten Kiel, which we know is a team at the bottom of the standings. In this match, Kompany attack line is unquestionable, they are aggressive in attacking, as evidenced by the 4 goals they have scored, however, there is one thing that disappoints me, I question why they could concede two goals in crucial minutes? On the other hand, Union Berlin is a very weak team this season. The team is very close to the relegation zone. We have seen Union Berlin lose four of their last five matches. With such a poor form, it is very unlikely that Union Berlin will win against a team like Leipzig.

Despite having 4 goals lead this was scary end for home team Bayern Munich they conceded 2 injury time goals while last 30 minutes were well controlled by Holstein Kiel which open flaws in their defense which needed to be fixed before its creation more problems for them in coming big games.

In first half they were in great control of game which give them lead of 2 goals, and they doubled their lead in just 9 minutes of game but after this Holstein Kiel have good comeback, and they score 3 goals terrifying end of match for them with they are not still have good lead at the top. Harry Kane score two goals which bring his tally at 19 with most chances no one going to challenge him for having this spot until end of this season which could be double win for him as he will be able to secure first trophy of his career as well.

Borussia Dortmund played very well in the match even as they played away but they were seriously unlucky, the reason the match ended in a draw. Dortmund was leading and actually deserved to win considering the level of effort they made but as football often happen, the conceded a late goal that ended the match in a draw. My bet was not spoilt though because I played on total goal score and not direct win for Dortmund. At some point, I feel real pity for Dortmund especially the way they are going this season which is showing that they may not be winning any trophy too.

It will be an incredibly important game for Dortmund, Heidenheim isn't a difficult opponent, and while they are doing badly this season, they need every three points they can get, so they are going to win this game I am sure of it. If they do end up failing to win, that will have huge consequences, not that they can do much right now, because they got a new manager, and they can't just fire all the players, but everyone at Dortmund, including fans, knows that the problem wasn't the manager, it was the players and it is going to keep being the players.

It is not even a talent issue, it's a desire issue, none of the players look like they really put 100% on the field, and fans are aware of it and they hate the players for lack of desire to play better.

Mainz can't score consistently. That's actually their biggest problem. They play really well against big teams, but they can't do the same against smaller teams or teams at their own level. That's what's stopping them from getting to the top. Mainz are actually doing the hardest part. They're failing at the easy parts. Just look at how ineffective they were against Werder.

Mainz 05 performed poorly in this match, where even though they dominated the match, they were unable to utilize that dominance to build more attacks, and from the few attacks they did build, the Mainz 05 players were unable to maximize every opportunity they got well, and just imagine from the 13 kicks they launched in this match only 2 were on target, and none of them became a goal.

As for Bremen, after they were able to take an early lead over Mainz 05, they really defended that advantage desperately. But fortunately Bremen lost 2 of their players due to red cards, it happened when the match was almost over.

There are still many matches this season, but looking at Bayern Munich's consistent performance playing against strong and weak teams, Bayern Munich will definitely win the title this season, and this title will break the curse for Harry Kane who has never won a major trophy during his career in football.

Bayern Munich are consistent in the bundesliga but they lack what it takes to be crowned league champions this season and I foresee a situation where another team might overtake them, they concede too much goals and their defensive department seems to be very shaky to the extent that they hardly keep clean sheets.

Considering the fact that their coach was a very good defender makes it very unpleasant for the Bayern side because defensively Bayern have been very poor this season and this might be what may cost them the title this season. Today conceded 3 goals against Hostelkiel and were lucky not have conceded the fourth or end up with a draw in what was suppose to be a walk in the park for Bayern.

I guess you can count today's win as two straight wins although they had to work really hard for it but the end result was favourable and that's what matters. Personally seeing Dortmund over the last three weeks struggling to win games was really disappointing and the bold step taken by the club to sack the coach was really important and with the current steps they have started, I think it's fair to say it's working out for them.

It was almost a draw if there was still time left. According to the score statistics made by both teams, Holstein Kiel almost made Bayern Munich fail to get 3 points because Holstein Kiel replied with two goals in the extra time which was only less than 2 minutes between the 90+1 and 90+3 minutes.

Bayern Munich's current 51 points after including the results of this match, make Bayern Munich safe to be in 1st place in the standings.
Their rivals Bayer Leverkusen have 42 points. If Bayer wins over their opponents, then Bayer Leverkusen's points gap will still be 6 points.

Technically speaking Kovac hasn't arrived yet, the official date shows 2nd of February, so he isn't really the manager just now. Dortmund will be playing the last game they have with the caretaker manager and they are going to get a new manager after today.

But this is of course in theory, because while he can't officially be in the hut, he is going to be probably talking with the team and the staff and telling them what he wants to see, which they will oblige and do whatever he wants to. I can't be sure if he can talk about tactical changes during the game or subs and what not, that would require a bit more tech, just like how when a manager is sent with red card and what not, but at the end of the day I am sure he will get his information shared to staff and get whatever he wants, even if not officially.

I was shocked to see that Holstein Keil could get three goals in that game because with how Bayern Munich kept scoring, I thought we'd see like six or seven from the hosts alone but they just scored four goals and got comfortable. That means if time had been on the visitors side, they would have equalized.

I have the feeling that though Bayern are at the top with 51 points, that doesn't mean they will carry the title this season because they easily relax once they have some number of goals and often underestimate their opponents.
