I'm impressed with his professionalism as he didn't get affected by the failed move that would have seen him make so much money. He still go the job done and put Leverkusen in front to give them more advantages in the game and they were able to score more two goals then got all three points. Now they're behind Bayern Munich by only 6 points. Anytime that Bayern Munich plays, they'll be playing knowing that Leverkusen are right behind them and if they miss any game to take all points then they'll be only 3 points ahead of Leverkusen. Despite Bayer Leverkusen's record breaking campaign in the German Bundesliga last season, I was one of the people who suggested that they'll be unable to compete for the league title this season because I thought the mentality of the players aren't strong enough to continue fighting for top flight title but they've proven that they have all it takes to compete at the highest levels this season. Today's performance against Hoffenheim was a convincing one from Xabi Alonso's men who are now six points behind league leaders Bayern Munich. Can they finally catch up with them and possibly retain the league title till the end of the current season? Time I think will tell.

I also doubted their performance for this season campaign we all thought they only got lucky and had a one season wonder performance but they have proved us all wrong and are on pursuit of another title glory even though they had a rough start they were still able to maintain focus and fight their way back to the top.

I believe what helped them was that they didn’t lose any player or even the coach, the players and coach were committed despite having interest from top teams but they didn’t leave. If by the end of this season some players leave and probably the coach also leaves then that will be the beginning of problems for them.

The victory against Hoffenheim was deserving for a title challenging team, they needed the win to keep going and keep their title hopes alive. Catching up to Bayern is not impossible but will be very difficult because the point gap is a bit much and Bayern Munich are also not slowing down.
