Bayern spends so much more money than others that just winning Bundesliga is not an achievement for them, it's just not enough. For that much money, they need to make sure that they can win UCL. I am not saying they should win UCL every single year, that is not possible of course, but they need to win it quite frequently. They have like 5th or whatever biggest salary, and that's way too much for them to be playing with and not win the title sometimes.

But to be fair, Barcelona has a higher salary cap than even Bayern and they failed so far for so long too. Bayern needs to realize they do not have a competition at Bundesliga, and winning it is not an achievement, they have to focus on winning UCL in order to say they actually achieved something.

I agree with that because winning back the Bundesliga trophy is no surprise, it's an achievement that they have achieved almost every season. As one of the biggest clubs in the German league, their target is not only to perform well and have great dominance in the domestic league, but also to be able to bring that dominance to an even bigger stage, namely in the champions league competition and also the club world cup, and last season Bayern seemed to fail to show that dominance.

Now that the new season is about to begin, a new chapter is about to open, so I hope that this season they can achieve more achievements and victories in both the domestic league and the champions league. And the same goes for Borussia Dortmund, because what they showed in the last season was not that impressive. Usually they are always a strong enough competitor in the domestic league and always surprise when playing in the champions league, but I didn't see that last season.

There will also be the Champions League which is important too, something Ten Hag didn’t have with Manchester United.

Every coach have is on pattern of performing in a competition. Ten Hag try to build younger once in Manchester United but he failed because the competition is very hard and unpredictable. Bundesliga competition is easy and I believe that Ten Hag can build is team and perform very well in the league and probably in the Champions League. Before Ten Hag come to Manchester United he as be doing very great in Ajax and making Manchester United have interest on him and buy him to the club to manage it. And he failed to help the club to win many trophies but I can says he try is best because he didn't go trophys less in staying in Manchester United. And I didn't blame him much for no winning many title because the players are not really doing well anymore and they need changes in the club, but since they bring Amorim the club improve better then before.

Let see how Ten Hag will manage Levekusen and challenge Bayern Munich in the league competition, because bayern Munich is the threats for them in the Bundesliga. Xabi Alonso is coaching a big club because Madrid is already build. he can win many trophies for the club. And Ten Hag need to perform more stronger before he can succeed in the Bundesliga. Because I don't think he can win the Bundesliga so easily for Levekusen this season. He need to defeat Bayern Munich and Dortmund in both home and away before they can be favorite to achieve the league title.

One could argue that in terms of the financial power of the Munich, winning the Bundesliga isn’t such an accomplishment anymore. Over the last ten years, Bayer has more or less taken the crown in their domestic league with little to no competition, and thereby public expectations have changed: they should, also, be victorious in the Champions League.

Apart from Bayern, there really aren’t many German clubs who do well in the Champions League on a regular basis, and only Bayern alongside Borussia Dortmund has managed an accomplishment worthy of representing the Bundesliga in Europe. Thus in the coming season, it is quite a certainty that these two teams are going to be met with expectations from their end not only for the purpose of lifting their own prestige but also to help push the reputation of the Bundesliga to what is considered the best level of European competition.

Last season, Kompany still lacked experience in the Champions League, so it's understandable that they failed to meet expectations. However, in the upcoming season, Bayern Munich seems likely to be one of the most formidable teams in the competition. In my opinion, Bayern Munich will probably not face much difficulty in retaining the Bundesliga title, as neither Leverkusen nor Dortmund have better squad depth.

Dortmund will have to fight hard to become a trophy contender again, as will Leverkusen, who are currently facing a transitional period following the departure of Xabi Alonso. Overall, I assume no team can break Bayern Munich dominance next season, Dortmund and Leverkusen will need a lot of luck to do so.

Have been wondering and trying to see if things we saw last season with Bayer Leverkusen can be a mistake or maybe tiredness of the previous season but it seems to me that these guys have gone back to how they were before Alonso took over and to win the league with the side, they haven't been up to speed and selling some of their best is something to worry about. The manager and some of the starting 11 also left the club and making it not that strong but can they give us something new next season?
For me I don't see it happening instead it will be Bayern Munich as usual to always win the league because I don't see any team stopping them, what can we really expect from Leverkusen now that they are running out of their best players, what's in for ETH and Bayer Leverkusen?

One thing I know is that, he'll definitely succeed in this Bayern Leverkusen. Whatever happened with Manchester United is already in the past. As much as he's got quality players, he will definitely bring them to maintain the top four position.

ETH is not Xabi Alonso. But how could anyone deny that he is a proven winner! Don't forget about his 3 league titles & cups with Ajax, & now he is going to give his footstep on Leverkusen through mid‑2027. You know the Werkself is still be proud with league top scorer Patrik Schick, also Florian Wirtz is remaining under contract. This Patrik Schick netted 21 Bundesliga goal last season.
Also remember Die Werkself finished 2nd to Bayern last season with only a midteen point gap. So effective squad groundwork is underway, it is so much sensible talk to challenge Dortmund for the top two, it is not wishful thinking at all. So, betting against them would be such a naive decision.

If he was given Bayern Munich, then I would say that he is good enough to win 3 in a row with them as well, and maybe even the cup. However, when he is given Leverkusen, he won't be doing much with them, plus he is already spending a shit ton of money on the team (or maybe the team does) and not improving at all. That has to be the most important factual reason why people do not trust him, because he did that at United and sucked, so we have seen him be bad before, why not be bad again?

Sure he was great at Ajax, but that Ajax team was dominating the league, so it looks quite obvious that he is going to end up with the title there, he isn't bad enough to make a dominant team lose, he is good there, but he can't make an underachieving team become an overachiever.

What you saying is that Dortmund and Leverkusen have owners that doesn't have it in mind to remain at the top as giant of the Bundesliga by winning trophies and in Europe they can't go far only making money, is that it? This system in which they operate will definitely bring in profit no doubt, 100% true but believe me when I say this, they'll never get to that position they were as of when they won the league title, talking about Leverkusen alone, because Dortmund are long gone and their records have been poor but good in bringing good players which they won't make use of in a long run but sell to make gain.
The money that they need that's the Leverkusen owner will be the same reason why many players will seek for growth elsewhere, because no player wants to remain at a place where he can lift a trophy for the number of years spent at a club. If we compare them both, both are quite good with their efforts and experience, but if we look at them in the team, Leverkusen is playing quite well and better. Erik ten hag improves his team with his efforts, but he is not preparing his team's players in any way, due to which Manchester United is not being so successful yet. Now his coach and his team should improve themselves by playing well. His development will be good, but there will also be a difference in the team's players, this will make Leverkusen better, but Manchester United was not doing well, due to which we will blame Manchester United's players, not this coach.

They do believe that things will not become a lot more confusing with the Erik Ten Hag move and they will continue to be decent at least. I mean even Leverkusen fans are aware that they are not going to win the league and that is a fluke, but they want to stay second place if possible.

Losing Frimpong and Wirtz means that they are going to get worse and that doesn't mean they are going to lose a lot, they will definitely look to do a better job and stay second even after losing those two players. As I understand it, the problems in the Bundesliga are based on regulation - there are some inadequate requirements for the distribution of club shares that prevent investors from owning and managing clubs. If this had not happened, the situation could have been like in the Premier League, although on the other hand there would have been more dirty money in the league. Everything has its pros and cons.

Leverkusen is basically following the path  shown by dortmund. We know that Dortmund has found a lot of talented players. And has been able to earn a lot of money by selling  them. This team does not compete for the title in any season. At the same time , Leverkusen is also probably joining this group. They will now  develop players and try to earn money by selling them.



Leverkusen has earned more than 200 million by selling players this season. They has sold important players like Wirtz, frimgpong, Kossounou and Xhaka. It is very difficult for Leverkusen to continue their  good performance next season by selling all the important players in the squad.

Although Leverkusen has bought players like Quansha, Malik Tillman and Ibrahim Maza. But these three are young. Although they are talented, not much good performance can be expected from them.
