Today Bayern managed to beat Union Berlin (a club that broke their long winning streak few weeks ago) 3-2 in an away game.
I haven't seen the game or even highlights of it, but looking at the stats, things can be a bit concerning for Bayern:


How can a club from the bottom half of the league table dominate the Bundesliga champion that much?
Shots on goal could be deceiving and not give a fair picture of the game, but the fact is, Bayern was not very effective in their attack, they conceded 2 goals and 2 of the goals scored for Bayern were own goals by Union's players.
Could it be a sign of Bayern's decline? Or have they taken a more relaxed approach today, as DFB-Pokal is probably not their top priority.

Union Berlin seen like a weapon fashioned against Bayern Munich, it's not when I will play Union Berlin to score 2 goals against Bayern Munich in their next meeting, that's when they will forget their scoring boots. The last time they met before just yesterday, they held Bayern Munich in the league 2 - 2 before the last international break now again in their cup game, they almost did same to Bayern Munich. That match would have ended in a draw if not that Bayern scored 3 goals before HT.

Bayern Munich performance has not been good as it was before, they concede early goals in their last three matches, it looks like their performance is coming back because this is not the Bayern Munich we are seeing from the beginning of the season, they even struggle to win matches since they played against Arsenal in the Champions League, Kompany have a lot of work to do to get the team back to their form.

To bet on Bayern Munich is scary now because the team has not been good, Harry Kane has not been able to score like the way he did from the beginning of the season when scoring 2 or 3 goals in one match, he also scored in every games but he has not been that good since their last matches, the only players that are trying their best is Mikel Olise and Luiz Diaz, they always find a way to make sure the team win.

Union Berlin's performance in this match must be commended. I want to emphasize the fact that Union Berlin deserved to win because they played good football. However as you said, Bayern Munich was a bit lucky in this match.

While Bayern Munich were strong in attack they allowed too many scoring opportunities in front of their own goal. Bayern Munich's defense was poor in this match they need to improve. It is not a case of decline but rather a case of an underdog wanting to prove a point against one of the best teams in Europe this season.

Leverkusen showed its greatness on the field again, crushing Borussia Dortmund. They defended well, and hardly allowed anything else, the second goal could easily have stood.

Yes union Berlin did well but they had a stronger opponent and so it was fine they got the result they got, they made it tough for their opponents so the in did not come off easy and they even wanted to equalize if they were given the chan, they are actually above average and will do well moving forward in the Bundesliga, only that they can not aim at the title.

I'm still concerned about what the team stands to lose in a minute. A huge loss could have been prevented so easily, because it was only about the one achievable title in the season. Imagine Adeyemi was playing like individual and without purpose. He should have sealed the match for Dortmund. Once again Dortmund have not been able to stand out to their enthusiastic fan's expectations.

Only one mistake from Union in this match where they lost in terms of aerial duels which made 3 Bayern goals created due to 2 own goals and 1 goal from Kane.
Indeed, Bayern's set piece for set pieces is very good but on the other hand if in the end Union can win in their aerial duel when the set piece occurs the results may be different.

Bayern progressed to the next round of the DFB but I don't think Union were any less embarrassing in this match although there must have been some regrets from their players who had some bad luck in the match.

Munich is far better than union Berlin, even before the match I expected Bayer Munich to win the match. However,  I’m even thinking Bayern Munich main focus is the champions league right now, they are already in the best place to win the Bundesliga title, they can just do more.

But seriously they will win the match tittle this season. But you see the champions league, they to be very ready for it, it won’t be easy, right now Arsenal ready took over the top sport of the champions league which is making the competition more competitive, Champions league competitions isn’t easy, Bayern Munich need to put more effort to it.

There is no excessive worry about winning the Bundesliga title, in fact, I think Bayern Munich might even secure it early before the season ends. Meanwhile, to win the Champions League, Kompany team will certainly have to work two or three times harder, because the competition is extremely competitive and there are several strong favorites. Arsenal, Madrid, PSG, Inter Milan, Man City, and even Barcelona are among the teams that will make the competition very difficult. Anyone who is ambitious to win the Champions League must be tough enough and ready to beat the teams above if they meet in the knockout stages later on.
