That's a mental collapse and ole Werner's got a serious problem if his side can't handle being in the lead.

Schick's been brilliant, sure, but he's leading the attack right now and that's a lot of pressure without Wirtz or Boniface at his disposal. Beating a solid RB Leipzig team away from home aways helps to get things back on track. No doubt they are not the same team anymore in many regards since Alonso and several players have left, but I think they are now in a position that is quite comfortable. There is really no need for them to complain at the moment.

I'm not at all surprised by Bayern Munich consistent performance since the start of the competition. This team is the ruler of the Bundesliga because it is very difficult for other teams to match the level that Munich has. I don't think it was one of Bayern Munich's best performances because Heidenheim is one of the three weakest teams in the Bundesliga. It's natural that Bayern Munich managed to score 4-0 goals in their last game in 2025 because the quality of the two teams is very different, I was actually surprised when Bayern Munich managed to win 5-0 against Stuttgart because the team is in the European Zone in the standings.

I was thinking about this match for one specific reason: Ten Haag. I was obtaining very mediocre results, and I understand that they lost several key players during the last window transfer but at the same time that wasn't the real Leverkusen either. Then they change the manager and they become a team again. I wonder who is going to trust the Dutch manager again, I think he career managing important teams is over.

I must have talked about Hoffenheim on this thread a while ago. They are indeed surprisingly well this season. We are talking about a team that faced a relegation threat in the previous season. In such a short time they have made a huge progress. They are fighting for top 4 which isn't unrealistic for them honestly. Because neither Leipzig nor Leverkusen are incredibly good these days. This is giving a bigger opportunity to Hoffenheim to take advantage of. Let's see whether Christian Ilzer carries his team to the Champions League!
