Let’s get it right please, Bayer Leverkusen never sacked Xabi Alonso, rather Alonso left the German club voluntarily during the summer of 2025 to become the manager of Real Madrid before he was later sacked again. He was able to get the club to make an historic history of going unbeaten throughout the league until he was able to successfully secure the Bundesliga title for the club and I think afterwards he just felt he had a better offer at Madrid and also saw it as an opportunity for him to grow bigger in terms of name and influence then he decided to move on to the next club. Real Madrid however did not favour him either and he also had to leave on what they referred to as mutual consent by the first month of this year. Just thought I should correct this aspect.

Exactly, they always have easy life against Stuttgart, I don't understand all these people writing "they should win", I mean, come on, you have doubts Bayern Munich can beat Stuttgart at home, at the beginning of the season? Usually, every year Bayern Munich win the majority of the matches until the winter break and then they slow down a bit because they focus more on the Champions League, but 99% of the time the competition never close the gap because they fail too many matches.
And the last time Stuttgart were able to beat Bayern Munich was back in 2024, in Stuttgart. Otherwise the best result was a 2-2 in Munich back in 2022.

It was a done deal even before the match started; I never expected less. If Stuttgart would have a chance against Bayern, that wouldn't be in their (Bayern) home, and I doubt if it would have been different if Bayern was away, as this is the very first Bundesliga match this season, Bayern would want to impress. This is one of the reasons I like the club, unlike many others top-tier clubs, they like to be serious from the beginning to the end. It only hurts a little that Kane wasn't able to score.
