It's a money topic, plain and simple. However rich, those two cannot compete with the biggest clubs like Bayern or Madrid in terms of salaries. Players will want to get paid and thus leave. In fact I'd say targeting top young talent is the best way for BVB and Bayer - they are very attractive for that group as they offer minutes and opportunities in the BL and CL. They will make a profit to buy more top talent and once in a blue moon when all stars align they will advance to the top club tier for a season or a couple. Bayer is stuck in that position, but if BVB saved up enough to start building a new stadium they might bridge the gap to Bayern at least partly. I liked what they did now, dropping Brandt and Adeyemi to get new forwards. Now just need to sell Guirassy to complete the change

Yeah they should've but then I can't blame them much. Do you know what it means to hold Bayern at Allianz Arena? They'll definitely chicken out eventually.

Elversberg was completely outstanding for real, they outperformed Leverkusen and deservedly snatched all 3 points in an impressive fashion but we can't bank on them just yet. It's just the start. The problem is not having a good performance at the beginning, the question is can they maintain the performance till the end of the season?

A newly promoted team winning Leverkusen already shows how inconsistent other teams are. Let's see if the almighty Elversberg can survive Monchengladbach  
I'll start to take them seriously if they can overcome their next two fixtures Borrussia Monchengladbach and Bayern Munich.

Sure, but still unfortunate to see that Stuttgart became a slapstick show after their hard-earned equaliser.

I personally think Elversberg will snatch many points at home.
I mean their opponents will surely question their life choices when they suddenly have to play in the deepest province
Not to mention the stadium that most likely will be populated with huge cows - if there are not enough spectators

No seriously, I'm tempted to back them to avoid relegation.
