How and how soon will the swap for GE take place?

The swap will begin as soon as the coin launches and remain open for 10 days.

sha256/hipos ? what does this mean ?

It's not very well documented, but from what I've gathered the only difference between HiPos and POS is that in HiPos your weight does not stop building after it hits your coin count. So if you have 10 coins and keep them offline for months, when you come back you will have 10 weight in POS coins, and more weight in HiPos that allows you to help get your fair share that you missed. HiPos also allows for some strategic locking and unlocking that was more relevant in Greed and GE than Swing.

To stake some you need to have some to have some you need to do what?

A. Mine it when we launch
B. Own Greed Evolved and convert it to Swing seed coins.

bookmarking it it would be good if we can secure any pool before launch to set our miners since there is no countdown and only a hour or two notice on Sunday :/

Where is zhe pool？

I've been trying to reach out to supernova as they insta added both Greed and GE but have not heard back yet. I get the feeling he will show up on launch and plan to pre-add him as a DNS seed, but if not there is a tendency for a half dozen pools or so to add new coins so we should get a few at least.

I'm shooting for 6 - 12 PM est sometime.

I can give a better estimate as it gets closer, but I'm currently working on:

Build the primary Seed Node
Create a fresh genesis block
Make sure it mines and builds on the seed node
Nurse the chain with a few blocks to keep it alive, and give a decent heads up to miners.
Upload the code to pool ops / wallets
Prep for swap requests
Open up swap form

So tldr; We have to wait for a bunch of stuff to compile and it can take a little while.

If any pool ops want a chance at getting linked as the primary pool in the ANN, let me know that you are planning to host Swing so I can get you the code asap. I'll link whichever pool gets the most consistant miners as the primary, and the rest below.

I think so too. He's an absolute ninja with his pool. It's just a matter of him being online and seeing the source.

So it can be mined with SHA 256? If I read things correct.. Should be interesting to see what how much TH's is thrown at this coin
