or a batch 15 of used units. That's a high chance too. It's not unusual for a Batch to be taken down before there is another to replace it, so I would guess on there being a Batch 15. Also they tend to remove the page completely when there is a Big change being done. Rich |

or a batch 15 of used units. That's a high chance too. It's not unusual for a Batch to be taken down before there is another to replace it, so I would guess on there being a Batch 15. Also they tend to remove the page completely when there is a Big change being done. Rich I would really like to see a new miner (S9), but they usually get rid of their used miners first so, I would predict that there will be used miners on the near horizon. |

Anyone seen Antpool hit 415PH for a brief few minutes yesterday? Wow. How the heck they went from 260PH just last month to 324PH right now and that blip to 415PH. They must have something crazy under testing?

For short time periods like this, its most likely just Variance. It doesnt mean they dont have more hardware under their belt, but hashrate is intangible, its not a constant thing. So this seem normal to me. |

I was thinking Bitfury would offer an overpriced miner before we would see an S9; now I'm giving up hope on Bitfury. Remember the light bulb?
I'm guessing they stick with the general S7 design; so will it use less power with the same chip count, add a fourth board with smaller heatsinks?

They did this before around the time the S4 came out. I had over 1k coupons then, all of low value. At least these are $100. |

I was just farting around on Coinwarz and if you keep difficulty the same as now and run one of these with .085KW power costs you will make a whopping 41 cents or so per day profit when rewards get cut in half... This is a fools game at this point unless the price jumps quite a bit. |

I am afraid that there will not be many takers-price is already plummeted to 0.01 btc, which is just a small token of value Personally, these prices for S7 make me somewhat upset about BMT which charged me $1823 plus shipping 6 mo ago. What is their bill of goods? $200-250? Probably the resell value in a couple of mo This makes it difficult to buy again in the future. |
