Gambling. Is It Wrong?

I think you little unnecessarily mix here gambling as fun and religion. In fact, I never heard that Church is criticizing gambling. Gambling addiction is a disaster, (I guess that's what you mean) God and Church should help such people.

Playing for profit is wrong because this is the easiest way to be addicted, but anyway it have nothing to do with religion. Of course gambling always should be taken only as fun and way to spend free time. Personally I don't like to go to cinema but i like play poker. Does this mean that I would be condemned by God? Everyone have right to like different things.

I guess it depends on how you look. Because some people have become rich through gambling. But that is a small percentage. Many people see gambling bad because it took them a lot of money.
But I must honestly say that gambling is bad.

So following your logic, stock market, currency trading or investing is the same as gambling. Because the symptoms are the same: people may or may not profit from these activities.
You need to be extremely lucky to be successful in trading area and people who lose money will most likely invest again. Thoughts?

Yeah sports betting i actually probably one of the least risky forms of gambling since there is such a delay between bet and result on average.  Punters have time time rethink their situation unlike faster forms of gambling.

That's true. There have been many instances when I have changed my bets after reading news alerts and predictions made by experts and they have mostly been right. Yes slower gambling are better way to prove gambling is not always wrong.

Yes with other games, you can not change your bets and hence sports betting is less risky. Many people here are trying to prove gambling is not right with sports betting results. I also have made some profits from sports betting, so I would say gambling is not wrong.

So you said if bet lower than 3 times in a week is not wrong like may be once in a week? Your sentences are jut a contra to the other one. Everyone in this world sure gambling because of wanting to get more profit and if you can control yourself I dont think addicted will be a problem to you. Unless you are not wasting so much money on it I dont think it will be bad

Gambling is definitely wrong. You lose so much money. If I no gamble I am for sure now a millionaire. Its the fault of gambling.
But I must you say truly that it is fun to do. Everyone likes to gamble. But it cost so much money and time and that is not good.

I am also not sure if you do not gamble you will be a millionaire. Gambling is never wrong, but you should be prepared to lose if you plunge into the world of gambling.

u set a specific amount of time: 3 to judge the whole world. it's too narrow. make things simpler is good, but it's hard, not that easy, just throw a random number like that.

i don't think that gambling is bad, no diffrence if you gamble with bitcoins or real money, it's not bad in any way

Gambling isn't bad, as long as no other people get harmed or involved in your gambling affairs. It only becomes bad when you become irresponsible and addicted to gambling to the point that you can sell everything you own just to have some money to gamble with.

Yeah sport gambling can't be that risky for the simple but good reason that you can't make 3 bets every minutes. You got to wait for the match to be actually played, so it takes time ^^

There is live betting in play markets which are very popular and you can lose money quick but again you still have to wait for the event to start which normally gives you some thinking time inbetween.

There is absolutely nothing immoral about gambling.  As long as you aren't infringing on other people's right to happiness, then don't worry about it.
