well i cant say that it is wrong if you do it to keep yourself entertained and your main goal is not to win vast amounts of money but if you gamble huge sums then i guess its not ok

If you think about professional poker players they earn big money from tournaments. I don't know if you count poker as gambling but it's the biggest card game in the world.

It can actually be a strategy or a gambling game, which depends how you see it. Poker tournaments are treated like a sports - esports - etc. tournament, but involving real money and requires skill, unlike most other gambling games that only require luck.

Just my personal opinion about that. May be you need to serious in gambling to earn money.

When people think that gambling is just a form of entertainment so it is wrong if they use it to earn money. Just play it whenever you have some money that you can afford to lose and keep in mind that winning is just a side effect of gambling.

poker is definitely gambling, its just that unlike most other games in a casino, skill and strategy also play a role in the player's chances of winning. luck is still a factor of course, skill cant change the cards a player is dealt, but an experienced player can bluff their way out of a bad hand if they play it right. one key difference though, these players treat poker as a job, not a source of entertainment.

I would tell you that gambling can never be safe and is not safe especially with bitcoins. why on earth should you want to lose your bitcoins that easily to someone. anyway if luck is on your side, then you can win yourself a fortune and also the opposite id true, you can lose a fortune

It depends if you are a poker played there is a high change you can win. But poker is a game that you will just lose all if you win so yeah.
But I think gamble is more 50/50 you win or you can lose. So it is not that bad.

Its benefical if you gamble when bitcoin price move massively. Just for example in last month i bet 0.5 worth $150 ($300) and make it 1btc when the price move up to $400 per 1 bitcoin. Yeah you get benefit there. Its one of many benefit. you will get more profit.

Btw how are you going to be serious? I guess everyone in gambling they are serious on getting profit and that is not as easy as talk. People need a lot of luck to get profit. Although some people are make this as entertainment they can get profit and others that really want to get profit will lose it so I dont think you should need to be serious, you just need to have luck

that's only if youre thinking in terms of fiat. nowadays when i gamble, im gambling with bitcoin and think in terms of bitcoin. its way too much trouble, honestly, to keep track of how many dollars im betting, or how many dollars i have left to work with. just look at the number on the screen honestly.

I think your confusing terms. My position on this debate is about the morality of gambling, not its legality. In my country, gambling is mostly illegal, yet there's a national lottery. To make things worst, on the legal side of this issue, there are casinos too. Nevertheless, they operate on a legal technicality, treating all the games as a sort of lottery, which are not illegal. So, in the end either with hard or crypto currency, it's your own moral decision to risk it by playing.

Gambling is wrong:
Because it is built on irresponsible stewardship (tempting people to throw away their money)
Because it is driven by the sin of covetousness (tempting people to give in to their greed)

This some two examples that gamble can be wrong, but for me I see gamble as entertaiment. So for me is not wrong or right.

nothing is wrong in this world until you do it sensibly and patiently , in the gambling you have to be not greedy because at the end greediness will kill you,  and in my personal view i will prefer to go for sports gambling, because in that market profit is less but in the end you will be in earning money. its like a business you do like that if you take it as a profession then you can earn.

Sure. They entertain himself losing money. Very good and interesting thing. Enjoy the lost of money. And then, more gamble and more the time goes gambling, more are the money spent for the entertainment. Slowly the money destined for gambling increased as amount and are taken from other kind of "entertainments", like the good life of the children, the good life of the wife/husband and the good life of the entire family. Then arrived in even more transformed the life of everyone involved in this story from good to normal and at the end, the above person, will see himself/herself without underwear and addicted by gambling. Will don't have even the money to take away the gambling (the addiction from it) from himself/herself.

Gambling create addiction if not stopped in time. That is the iron rule that cannot be changed never and by no one. Period.

It's not wrong no, because it's your choice to do it, and it CAN make decent profit, but isn't a long-term viable option in my eyes.
