There is nothing wrong with gambling. But there are a few circumstances. Gambling should be something that is occasional and an individual should only assume the risk they can afford to lose. Risking the general health of yourself and those close around you isn't worth it for the "big payout". The one thing about gambling is there isn't a guarantee and maybe that is what draws some to gambling.

Gambling can only be wrong if you make it wrong.
It's totally depending on you and if you can control yourself when you're on a losing streak.
Agree completely .. but not just on loosing streaks but even on winning streaks we must try to control ourselves. Because after that winningstreak ends we feel frustated. |

Gambling is not wrong. If you play the lotterry is it wrong???
The real problem is the gambler itself. Some people loose it, others don't. Another problem is cheating betting casinos and sites, and all the violence and illegality behind it.
Yes in some countries lotteries are banned and according them it is wrong. In your country may be not banned but in India not all kinds of lotteries are allowed but only some government regulated ones are allowed. People are very easily addicted to these gambling games so if one don't know how to control himself it is better to stay out from gambling. |

Oke people just lets say that gambling is not wrong, because is just a game that you can win money or maybe lose it.
The only problem with gambling that you can be addicted and you will do some stupid stuff that you can't control yourself.

Gambling every now and then isn't wrong, just don't make it a daily habbit to lose.
You should be alright if you don't do it everyday
Gambling everyday will turn into losses more than winnings

There is nothing wrong when you gamble, but in my country (Malaysia) online gambling is illegal. It will leads to big loss if you do not know what you do when you gamble. Sometimes I win big and there is a time where I lose everything. Just gamble what you can afford to lose. |

If you are doing it out of habit or are addicted, then yes it is wrong. If you're neglecting real life responsibilities like family or your job, then yes it's wrong.
Entertainment value is the best reason to gamble

Yeah that is the only problem with gambling if you don't want to listen to your family or others. That is why when I play I don't mind losing money, because I do it for fun. |

Just because a Casino doesn't go bust doesn't mean players don't win. There can be 60% losers and 40% winners and the Casino still rakes in cash although I'm sure the gap is bigger. |

I have played 2 times with gambling, but is not wrong to do it.

And casinos actually do go broke, not because players winning too much but because poor money management but still they go broke. The gap is probably higher but still even if it was 10% winners is still a lot of people who win. |

what if you can't afford on losing your money then it is bad? well gambling will be bad if it turns out to be addictive for you then I suggest not to play gambling but if you can play in moderation and learn to stop if you learn the odds are not in favor for you then that is good, I think lottery is not wrong if lottery is for charity there are some lottery managing it so then can get money donation for the charity. |

I Didn't say gambling, I said the lottery is not bad because some lottery outlets are managing for the common good of charities, well lottery is also gambling but they are using gambling for a good cause because they will be given the money to charities but not all there is just a percent amount. |

By definition, there is no such thing as "knowing" that you're going to make a good profit from funds you've set aside for gambling; if there was, casinos would be nonexistent right now. I'd say that it'd be better to rephrase that to saying this: "Unless you want to just have some fun with money you don't particularly care about and can definitely afford to lose, 10 times over." |
