Gambling in origin it is wrong. Gambling can make people greedy or make them think that they can fulfill their materialistic needs through it. I think it is wrong because gambling can lead a good person to being not a good one anymore, it can lead to forgetting family and friends, leave daily work and many other bad things. It is better to stay away from gambling.

Either it is nature or that they lose their common sense. If you have a determination that you are playing only for some amount of profit and not to be rich from it. As long as you have a solid determination then there is no such thing as 'wrong' in gambling, it is only another way of making profit in these kind of days where you cant really hope much from your salary

I do not think that gambling make a person lazy as it is not a source of easy money but it only provide some entertainment and if someone will seek for money in gambling then he will fail and only a few lucky people become millionaire in gambling. The main purpose of gambling is to play games for fun and enjoy.

It doesnt however some people do treat it as that. It happened to few people and they lose common sense of their life. It is crazy to see how people are that desperate for money. Desperate for money is one thing and being greedy for money is another thing. Those lazy people we are talking about are the ones who are greedy and wont work hard for the money rather try to use their luck to earn it for them while they take rest on a couch.

Problem is many people do understand the fact that gambling wont bring them much earnings but are still lazy enough to not try to get a job or learn some skills to try to get a job.

Yes but if someone is lazy and doesn't want to work than how will he get money for gamble? Loan maybe and than try to win? It sounds more stupid to me than greedy. IMO opinion greedy person will continue to gamble even if he wins something, it has nothing to do with laziness or job. Many greedy gamblers are actually working hard and than lose all money which is also stupid.  

Its just really stupid for people to work very hard and then spend all and lose all the money they have on playing gambling and i dont know what are the things they do have to their minds to do such act.its just like a suicide thing specially if you do have a family.

Well that's how addiction works, the urges is hard to oppress keeping you from doing the same thing over

There should be a difference between gambling for fun and gambling just so the gambler could make money.
There is also times where a gambler might gamble just so that he could prove a point and that is where things get a little risky because it's merely emotional betting. Emotional betting is bad to do when the person has love ones that care or the gambler's well-being and the gambler decides that only his methods are the right thing to do.

This is very right, gambling makes a person lazy when they've got already addicted. All they want is easy money, they losses the time to think on how to be productive like finding ways to have a decent work. And the worst thing is they don't have more time to care of their family and children.

The gambling is not always wrong, and it will not always give a loss. The loss percentage is high, but the winning percentage is also there. The main thing is you must know when to stop then only you can able to improve your winning percentage in gambling. And don't play gambling with any expectation, if you play like this, then you will not get any returns. Just play with free mind there is a possibilities are there to make some money in gambling.

In most cases if you go into to look into the lives of such people, you will encounter some broke dude who does not even have a proper income. Maybe they come from some country where GDP is very low and they can even feed themselves twice a meal per day. Its the way they see in trying a desperate mode to try to earn something. Its the pain of the tummy - they say which is unbearable and makes you do all sorts of anti-social stuff other than gambling as well.

failure to control emotions is one of the mistakes when we play gambling. due to emotional instability, we can not play well. we will always fail when it could not cope with it all right.

I am gambling almost daily and Im not the one that will risk all my money for gambling. I control what I gamble however there are alot of people who dont. I dont blame you for saying this thing however it is not wrong to gamble when you can control what you gamble even when you have an addiction

Exactly, gambling isn't wrong as long as you are in the right track and you know what you are doing. You are not borrowing money just to satisfy yourself to gamble and you are not severely gambling just like others. In other terms, as long as you will gamble for yourself and you will not distract other people for it, that's fine.

I know many religioins like Christianity and Catholocism do actually support gambling if it is done for FUN and not to gain assets. As most forms of gambling is done for fun, then gambling is right. If it is not done for fun then it may be wrong, but why would you do something if you don't enjoy it?

Yes it is, just like here in my country land based casino also online gambling was supported by the government. Even lottery outlet are legal here too that's why many poor people are depending their fortune in there to become one day millionaire. But most of the time those people who goes in gambling are doing it for fun. BUt for me its not beneficial financially.

Unless we do it for fun then there is not a lot in gambling since the chances are against us and there is no way to modify that so if you are not going to gamble with the objective of having fun then you are doing it wrong since the chances of winning are very low.

Money rules the world but morals also act as a constrain for the people that have a strong belief system whether this derivates from a religion or a philosophy so it is not like morals are not existent since it is obvious they mold the behavior of people.

Money shouldn't be the one causing the morals of the people. It is becoming like that because money become the most need of every person here, which is true but it shouldn't control us. It's not good to be greedy and never will be good.
