Personally, I dont think gambling is wrong, gambling is not wrong
only you can't control yourself to play it. Remember, dont think that gambling is easy way to make a lot of money.

I agree that it is self control what people must enforce in order to stop gambling. But this thread is about the right or wrong of gambling. Our religion considers gambling as a sin. Its also considered as one of bad karma. So for us it is wrong.

I think its tough to make money in gambling. Since it totally depends on luck and not any skills we can never keep on making money - we will lose it if we keep playing more and more.

Gambling is ok, but it is an entertainment game not a way to make money.

When you gamble its the same as if when you play some video game, you pay for the enjoyment of it and the excitement or thrill it gives to you.

If you get lucky you can win too, but that should not be your primary goal.

Gambling is just for fun just to make sure you can discipline yourself and you need to have a self-control while you are gambling. But for some people gambling is bad because you are just wasting all your money in those useless games and also when you are too aggressive in playing those such things.

Thats true lots of people are thinking that gambling is really wrong they not know what really gambling do when you know how to discipline your self enough and know when to stop when you already won the game. Then stop don't to harsh to your self and trying to make more money with it because in the end you will just lose and then addicted start chasing your lose.

In my own opinion gambling is not wrong its a gambling site or casino only who offers gambling games for us to have profit and fun .Both is given we just need to know what would be our needs before playing.

Precisely, our habits makes gambling wrong but not gambling itself. Some people treat gambling poorly and ends up loosing badly hence that perception grows out there in the minds of people that gambling is a bad/wrong thing to do.

As long as you enjoyed it and never have a negative effect in your life or other peoples life then gambling will never be wrong.  In my point of view, there is nothing wrong with gambling but the people around it is responsible on where it will take them.  To much gambling that result in obsession or addiction is wrong, but as I said gambling is not to be blame here but the people who can not control themselves.

That's true gambling is not bad at all, it depends on who using it. Just like the other said every thing that its too much is bad. Everyone's perspective in gambling is bad but it is not true, the bad is the one who mistook and addicted to it.  We all know that addiction is wrong.

Yes it isn't wrong and there is nothing wrong with gambling. What is wrong is with the gamblers, if they can't take gambling lightly then gambling isn't the one is doing something wrong for them but it's themselves. We know what gambling can do to ourselves if we will take it seriously but always learn to do on how to make yourself control gambling, not gambling will control us.

Gambling is indeed not wrong. but since gambling make most people lose or lose money then gambling wrong (according to the gamblers who lose a lot of money). but for those who haven't felt it would never say such a thing, as indeed they have not felt it. So, make someone wise in addressing gambling.Because gambling is not the place of the usual game, but a game that can get you addicted and large losses

Gambling is wrong for people who think they will be rich with gambling. I dream this when I play slots but I know deep inside me I will never hit any jackpot to become rich. People not aware of gambling consequences should not be playing it. People who see gambling as a way out of poverty , depression should never consider to gamble.

You dont necessarily need to control your gambling habit. All you need to do is to have a determination that you are gambling for profit and you will stop when you got profit. Most people cant understand this stuff and keep on going whenever they feel like it, hoping that they will get more than what they intended to get

Well losing is a part of gambling anyways and you have to expect that there will be more times that you're going to lose money that times that you're going to gain money. Losing doesn't make gambling wrong. That should serve as a lesson for you to be a bit more careful when gambling especially with large amounts. 2.05 btc is a very big amount to lose

I agree it is wrong when you have lost money and then you will always feel that. Sorry for your loss but let this be a lesson for you and dont ever think of gambling again. In the mean time try to get your skills to work and earn the money that you have lost. Make every drop of sweat count and dont stop until your earn that amount in a hardworking manner.

What ? You lost 2.05 BTC ? What game makes you lost that much? That is a big amount to me and I not brave to gamble that much. Indeed, gambling wrong when it could not control yourself and spend all your money, it will make you loss. In gambling lost it's natural so that you should be able to manage your money so not harm you.

But since the amount of money you own is significantly less than the house, if you continue gambling forever you will eventually lose even if the house had no advantage at all over you. 

The problem is that people never just stop forever.  They might gamble once, make a profit and leave, but someday when they have a much larger amount of money, they're likely to come back and throw it all away, hoping they can get away with it.  It's possible to control but it can be hard.

If you think that gambling is wrong because you lost your money then you are wrong because you play gambling for making money so you should aware of that you also loose money. You can say it is wrong because it takes time and in Muslim countries gambling is forbidden.

I don't see anything wrong in gambling, either you win or lose. You might get addicted, you might lose everything, you might win a lot, it is up to you and your luck and not gambling.  Gambling is a sin in some religions, but if you aren't religious

Did you lost it in a online dice game for just 1 day? The reason I'm asking is because that is a big amount just to lost it a day for me. If you lost it in a day than I think you are addicted already. Sorry to tell and you need some help as well. And you have to find it the hard way like everybody here, you have to lost big amount before you realized that gambling is wrong for you. But I think its too late you better seek help otherwise you will lose a lot of bitcoins.

I don't gambling is wrong at all unless you are gambling in limits as you should always know what are your limits and should know when to withdraw and if you can successfully do this then there is no harm in gambling and even you can make quick bucks from it.

yes i am agree with you, it is a fact that loosing money in gambling is not that wrong but the way you play gambling is too much important i think if a person do not have any experience in gambling and you continue gambling without any planning or strategy then it is really too much risky.

Well we are all certain in most of the point been talked here but don't give general judgement on all gamblers that they all do it wrong because if they know how to manage on their gambling profit well, their btc will no be negative of amount and it doesn't prove it all wrong. It's only a matter of specific ideas why most of those serious type of person judge that gambling is wrong.
