As long as you know when to call it a stop. Most important you know what you are doing. But most of the time it's not the case as emotions tend to take over and that is where you go deeper and deeper. So it is wrong? I don't think so because you are the one to make the call.
There are two types of gambling one is playing casino or similar site to put money to become fast rich is absolutely wrong because your will never ever satisfied with your winnings. After you win some then you will try for some and finally you will loose every thing. The other kind of gambling is investing in stock market for long term should be a better option if you want to grow your money for long term. You should choose a good company stocks for long term gains but if you start trading then it will be purely gambling and you will loose your money soon or later. |

I lost some BTC because of gambling: I was so sure about some bets that I went almost all in.
I was wrong and that cost me some money.
There's no easy way to get easy money: some people are really lucky but most of us will never know this luck.
That is why now I play very small amount just for the fun of playing.

After you will spend all the controlled money or the separated bitcoin addresses dedicated for gambling surprisingly you will ask other money for other purpose and you will find (without to much difficulty) where you will have all the other addresses which were destined for non gambling and will use (lost) all those money for gambling. At the end, the end is sure and clear.
I think this will depend on the behavior of the person. I know a guy who doesn't want to mix his winnings from gambling to his regular money. He say's it bad luck. |

gambling isn't wrong but if you're addicted to it and it would ruin your life then it's wrong. remember gamble moderately.

if you have spare btc that you wont miss if lost, then do ahead and gamble and if u win thats great. if you lose just pretend you never had that btc.

Gambling is in now way wrong if you are doing it in a way that it doesn't affect you or someone close to you. So keeping the old "don't gamble what you can't afford to loose"
is the best way to stay safe. On the other hand, if you are thinking of dealing with money problems by trying to multiply it by gambling, it's definitely not the way to go.
btw this is way more suited for gambling section imho.

Nothing wrong in gambling. It is the person who play gambling. If the person become addicted in that is wrong already. You cant control your self if you are addicted.
So the problem is the person and not the fact or the way that damage him. Gambling in itself is a good thing and must be honored because help people to lose money. Are the people guilty that loose the money. Are they that must punished! We must applied those gems! |

Gambling's structured to pay the house. Is it fun? Yes. Is it easy to make money? No.
If you are going to gamble, focus on one game or discipline - not a game of chance like dice - and figure out how to exploit weaknesses in the game. You may have to wait awhile between plays, until you find those weaknesses, but it'll be worth it.

Taking calculated risks is one thing but blatant gambling is far too risky and well, too addictive for my taste. It's better to try to structure your investments wisely and only invest say 10% of your net capital into high risk ventures. That's just my 2 bits..

Taking calculated risks is quite fine. If you make profit, id say quickly withdraw. If it's a site where you have a high win rate, withdraw as fast as you can, as the site might go kaput. If you have a low win rate, if you get a tiny bit of profit withdraw too. Remember, the only reason gambling sites stay up is because of their gamblers.

Every one thinking he/she can control themselves but once starting gamble then they will have no control so better do not start gambling is the better option. Its possible to control that is if you only bring the exact money you want to spend or separate the btc address of you bitcoins that you intend to use for gambling yeah i agree. If you separate the BTC address, you are already taking seriously to gamble |

Forget about government think about your family who is depending on you because in the gambling more chances people loose and indirectly it affects who is depending on you not on any government. |

everybody already admits that football gambling is very difficult. but i dont interest with it i interest with playing dice, etc. |

Never cannot be known deeply yourself. In various situation get out always another person. This is a new person person unknown before. So anyone can pretend to know himself profoundly and until at the end og himself. So no one one can know in which way can act a person in all situations which can be created in a gambling story.  |

pretty much what i was gonna say as long as it's all in good fun and don't get carried away and bet what you can't afford to lose. but there are people who take it to the extreme and get addicted and go overboard and ruins there life |
