I have read some articles and watched people who have spent years in prison for stealing hundreds of thousand from their employer. Money is merely the mechanism that allows you partake in your addiction that you will commit a crime like lying, cheating, stealing.  Gamblers are the biggest liars known to mankind. So do you think gambling is good or it is wrong?

Gambling is the root of it but we are all grown up and we know whats good and whats right. And they got the appropriate penalty, if they didnt stole money they wont be in jail. They are not just responsible gamblers.

totally wrong on my perspective why ? because i already lost about 2 bitcoin on gambling but i dont know why i just cant stop to touch such thing i always ended up losing no matter how sure i am , now i try hard to stop this and hopefully all goes well and i will get my moola back

It's your fault that you lost 2 bitcoins and you should ask yourself why did you gamble in the first place? Because you will not lose those bitcoins if you didn't gamble at all. Gambling isn't wrong and in your side, you are the one who did wrong. As you know you can't stop touching your bitcoins, why you didn't do something about it?

I agree all the decision here is from TrissMerigold.  He cannot make a decision and blame gambling for it.  Gambling is just there, it is up to us if we will play and gamble without thinking the future or keep ourselves unchecked and lose a lot of money.  If we made a wrong decision, do not blame other people or other things, instead let us  be a man and accept that it is our fault of having a weak self discipline.

Gambling should be illegal. It's something that doesn't help anyone, it doesn't help society and even if you argue that it creates jobs, it also destroys lives so in the end is still bad. A lot of casinos also are used to laundry money or other illegal activities. If gambling was really fun, people would gamble with no money involved.

It is illegal in some country but you can still access it. I dont think just because it doesnt help anyone than it should be illegal because we have choice, we have choice to play or not depending on us. If you think that it doesnt help you then dont play but for me it is helping me to relieve my stress and I enjoy it

That's like saying cocaine should be legal because you have a choice, to use it or not, or that anyone can buy any weapon anywhere because you have a choice, to kill someone or not. The world doesn't work like that and some people will not be able to abstain themselves from doing it that's why it should be illegal but as usual, the government doesn't care at all.

For me gambling isn't bad at all. Gambling could help us to entertain ourselves however we should know our limitations. Furthermore, you should only play your money that you could afford to lose. In the other hand, in some country gambling is a not accepted and they think it is a sin, we ought to understand them because we have own beliefs.

It is, in my opinion, people who play and gamble that seem greedy and materialistic and the person get easily angry, that's someone who shouldn't play. Knowing that gambling could lead you to destruction in the bank and probably with your relationship with your loved ones. That's just epic, you should know your limits.

Not everyone is greedy, Im not greedy when I gamble because it is only for fun however it is different for some people that want profit so it depends on people wether it is right or wrong. Not everyone greedy but every person has greedy nature. Some people will control their greediness like you and someone not, this kind people will become an addicted gambler. Gambling is not good to play for profit. We use this gambling only to get entertainment. Other than this if we use for anything it is wrong.

If one can control their greed one can become better in getting over the gambling addiction. But it is true that many players play just for fun and not for profits. There are many players who wait for tips in the chat-room and then beg for tips in online casinos. They might try to multiply that amount if they can as well. So if it a big win they have actually made a profit out of a free tip. However it is rare and in most cases time wastage is more than any worthy return.

Most people would want to have profit, I think everyone does it's just the reactions or the responding of a person is that differs. When you look at it, it's people that you think who are not going to be addicted is the people who would be. It's just basic, people would want to be responsible for their actions.

We should be held responsible in al of our actions and decisions in life - no blaming games because we are the one in control of our lives. If we gamble, we are responsible for its outcome whether we win or lose. That is the main reason why we should only play for fun and entertainment because we will most likely lose than win because the odds are against us.

Thats one of the reasons why there are a lot of conflicts and misunderstandings, instead of playing for fun they began pointing fingers when things get tough. Even if its is a gambling game we must know the limitations of our actions and the relationship to other players. We must be professional in some way, bear defeat with great heart.

If you are addicted to gambling then its surely wrong but if you are gambling for fun and entertainment with a small amount of money then I don't think there is anything wrong in it but you should know your limits and also you should be aware when to stop.

Some simple advice, dont gamble if you only want to do it for fun. You wont really get anything from it. The only pleasure that you are going to get is when you win the game. That's what I've been thinking about people who say they're gambling just for fun. Our way to have fun from gambling is to win and earn a profit. Those who always say that gambling for profit is wrong and they defend nonsense.

If you widen your understanding you will see that not all gamblers are playing for profit.  There are gamblers that are looking to socialize, relieve their stress by having fun.  Thus gambling to have fun.  Whether they will lose or win is nothing to them since they have accepted that the fund they will use will eventually spent just like when they are watching movies or going out with friends.

Thats very professinal. Imagine some 60 years old man with enough assets and just want to enjoy life to the fullest, risk some, play some, leaening new things and exploring places and socializing with people. Thats some professional gambler wheb you have that purpose.
We can have fun with our own way and betting some woth friends aint a bad idea.

You shouldn't be blaming the govenment about that proliferation of gambling because before that gambling establsihments been structured and registered, they were imposed with a certaim rules and regulations upon doing the operations. Like with casino houses in my country they are paying bigger taxes for the government and submitting themselves to the legal matters of the law. I think the main point to be blame here is the gamblers itself doing it in a wrong way and can't even manage with their addiction; wasting money until dawn.
