Is it illegal to buy anything through them, or just drugs? What if I bought a piano or a painting through a dark net market? |

It is up to the individual to decide whether he want to use drugs or not. What he wants to do with his body, is his concern, and nobody else's. And the main reason why there is so much demand for drug dark-markets is due to the fact that all the soft-drugs as well as the hard-drugs are banned by the governments. Remove the ban, and the demand will automatically decline.
Going by your logic is it okay to let someone commit suicide because it is his life and body? If we know for sure that something is harmful for individual and for society,we should take all the necessary steps to prevent it from happening.Drug causes several physical and psychological problems and should be avoided.Also it is absurd to say that drugs demand is high because of ban.Nobody buys drugs to violate ban,they buy because they are addicted to hit.Removing ban will only cut down the drug prices it will have no affect on its demand |

The potential buyers or piano or a painting will not got to darknet market to find these items. But if they do, I think it will not be illegal, because these items are not controlled items/substances. Nothing to do with dark net |

It depends where the seller got that painting and piano Is it stolen or not? And i don't think someone would risk their ass just to get to dark net and sell that stuff Why don't they just sell it on ebay or similar sites? |

I never bought drugs with Bitcoin, but a lot of people did during the Silk Road. After that there were several dark markets to take its place... and today still you will be able to buy drugs through the deep web and not just with bitcoins but with Fiat as well.

Congratulations.
You just found a way to make this currency look more questionable due to drug trading. We are trying to make this currency look respectable so people that do not comply can see that bitcoin will not be used for illegal activity. You are giving this currency a bad name. Bitcoin activists are desperately trying to make this currency more common, and we can't with a negative reputation. We already have a negative reputation. You're just digging us down to the core of the earth.

uhm i doubt is for that, bitcoin become popular mainly for speculation purpose, big wave of noobs investors were attracted in the doge era, to experiment with something new it's only appears to be more convenient to buy illegal stuff with bitcoin because of the problem of its traceability, but it's the same with cash |

It's nice to see that the most people in this thread are against the tendency to connect BTC with drugs.
Yes, it is a convinient way to buy drugs with BTC because of its untraceability, but when we hear the word "knife" the first thing that comes to mind is not necessarily "murder" though alot of poeple were murdered with knife.
Same thing must be with BTC: when we hear the word "Bitcoin" the first thing that comes to mind shouldn't be "drugs".

Nopes,I never bought drugs not with bitcoins,neither with cash.
But yes i do know that bitcoin is already used to buy drugs and due to the anonymous nature of bitcoin,people prefer using bitcoin to purchase illegal things including drugs over other payment methods like credit cards.
There exist many secret websites that i am not aware of but there are,which provides these things-drugs for bitcoins.

looking from another side bitcoin makes sth easy for everyone , so for drug-users and dealers too.if there is an easy way , who will want to use climbing?they also use any currency , are they dirty too for being used by drug sellers?no way.

Me i never bought drugs or do such illegal things using my bitcoins.But using bitcoins on illegal things is not beyond the regulations of using bitcoin .Anyone can deal with it.Most drug user and dealer often use bitcoin cause of its anonymous and fast transactions.I never use bitcoins to buy drugs online and i will not ever try it.
