In the next five years, the abolition or abolition of paper money will be a global trend. Personally, I think, at least we should abolish the large denomination notes until all the paper money is abolished. Note the obvious defects, can not leave traces, dirty business, money laundering, cruel exploitation by money more convenient. If a bribe is to be transferred, it is finished. At present, there has been a country to abolish paper money, and several countries announced that it is studying the abolition of. .
Bribes can be transmitted by any means, not only in cash. Cancellation of paper money has no effect on the overall level of corruption. I'm not sure that the world will be able to refuse paper money in the near future Whenever I see that someone gets caught and makes it into the news, they are always using cash money. Really, bank transactions can be easily traced, and if some public figure receives 1M dollars into his bank account, that will immediately raise certain questions. This is not to say that cancellation of paper money will have a profound effect on the level of corruption, of course. Corruption neither depends nor is caused by paper money I guess something like gold will be used instead of cash if it gets removedYou mean like golden coins? That would be great. I want golden coins instead of paper money. But seriously I don't think paper money will ever disappear because it's a very convenient thing to use.

I mean gold coins and gold bars But ultimately, it doesn't matter as long as a piece of an asset used to bribe cannot be singled out and hard to be traced. So you can't use a house to bribe somebody unless this house gets officially registered to a dummy, i.e. a person acting on behalf of the bribee. But gold (as well as Bitcoin) is a better idea overall since more value can be packed in just a few coins (or bars), for example, and it is hard to get traced down

The war on cash by governments has begun, they want to control every amount spend, they will say its about drugs or bribes or crime etc but its all about control. I dont know how long it will take, but sooner or later cash will disappear, maby not in 5 years but they will
I thought it was too short dude. will probably need a few more decades for cash can be lost and dissapear, for whom his successor? certainly from the currency version of the digitial, because now more widely used Yeah I do agree with you. I dont think that the government will easily accept Bitcoin instead of fiat in the next five years. It should take us at least a century for cash to totally disappear. At moment, it seems like there are only few people on this planet knowing that Bitcoin is exist. Therefore, we still have to use cash for a long time It could be accelerated anytime btw if it's really necessary I mean when a lot of people around the world agree to move to digital money Then bitcoin will be used as the premier currency and paper money slowly disappeared.

I think there will a come a time that we will consider digital currency as a means of payment. We already have countries using credit cards at almost everything but I guess paper money wouldn't disappear. It would still be best to have something tangable when it comes to payment. Wouldn't it also be much more dangerous if we only use digital currency?
It is inevitable that we are going in to digital age, where the use of digital currency is unavoidable too, cards will play major role in payment systems. But that doesn't mean that paper money will disappear that fast. We must keep in mind that not all parts of the world are equal. There are still places where technology is already there, but they still prefer to use the traditional way. Changes will come as new system with come to aid a faster transaction online, some people who has a big interest with digital currency will used the latest and the most effective one. Bitcoin will be one of the most effective digital currency for online transaction as it can help the investors to earn as well. While the world is moving fast, we cannot sacrifice the need of other people to use paper money, more options are better of course, so they will be here to stay. but i think still it is not a threat to paper money, i think for next 100 years people will be using fiat as their main currency, although they will be using bitcoin mostly for online matters and partially in local shops for shopping, paying utilities bills and for some other activities but still fiat will be dominant on bitcoin in real life and majority of people will be still using bitcoin and may be because of lack of bitcoin introduction and some other reasons. yes paper money is still safe and there is no risk to it, but i think the number of bitcoin are increasing day by day and my be it effect the use of fiat as people will give preference to bitcoin and therefore the use of fiat will decrease. but i think it will take a lot of time and currency bitcoin will be used as optional currency by the people. but still they will use bitcoin on priority basis for online buying and selling.

I do not count on that:) Some country are already implementing Cashless Society, and with the popularity of Bitcoin that pushes a digital currency might probably shorten the existance of paper money. Government are now getting interested with Blockchain technology and once the government master it, we can say good bye to paper money.

Paper money and everything else under the control of governments will be fine and will always be used by normal people (not saying we're normal but I'm speaking of the average person here) who just wants to go on with the day the day. They'll probably always use fiat currency and life will be fine like that.
I really do hate some of the crazy outrageous claims on here that bitcoin is going to kill Fiat currencies as it's really not going to, just accept it.

May be for some developed country this might happens but do you think about under developed country? How are they going to do things if they dont even have any paper money? They really need to back in old times? Buying things from trading thing? Their government sure dont want this things to happens on their countr too. To erase fiat from each country I dont think it is still far journey

The role of paper money has changed drastically in the past century and that is a fact. Russian oligarchs will have money in real estates, gold, different currencies and in bitcoins now. Future money will be digital, tomorrow, for 10 or 100 years that will happen. The war on cash by governments has begun, they want to control every amount spend, they will say its about drugs or bribes or crime etc but its all about control. They will be forced to change the system, one way or another. That is evolution!

the reason why hackers are more interested in fiat money is because the price of it is steady and doesnt fluctaute frequently. and when bitcoin achieve let say $1000 per bitcoin hackers will turn theyre eyes to bitcoin and hack it, even right now bitcoin is being hacked.
The value of 1 bitcoin really doesn't matter. Hackers just look at total value - whether bitcoin or fiat. They just try to extract the maximum possible value. I think hackers will not see the price of bitcoin or something. there is even a hacker who stolen $2 from balance in my paypal accoutn? lol as long as there is money in your purse. then hackers will steal your money. no matter it paper money or bitcoin. The best way to protect against hackers is to become one so that you know how they do it. I spilt my Bitcoins into 3 different accounts so that hackers will not have a chance to steal all my balance.

because money some how is not that safe as bitcoin. and government is also involved in controlling of Paper money. but in bitcoin a person is only the boss of his bitcoins and no one can ask him or charge him to having btc.. I don't know what will be the future of paper money but the future of bitcoin is very bright.

Nice, the best way is to keep it to a few wallets. According adage that says "do not store eggs in one place, because if it breaks out then nothing is left". In addition, never store in a regular wallet, use the features available in the VAULT web wallet.

As quoted above several digital currency based upon several countries government has been under trial. But those were with limited function to be used within the country or state. As said making money supply is easy and cost of paper money generation can be eliminated but risk of usage in illegal and relating activities might increase. I believe at some corner of every country paper money will be used even if digital money gets circulated with regulations.

Basically, there is nothing wrong with that, but you should always remember whether what you are doing actually serves the intended purpose. More specifically, splitting your stash of coins may in fact increase the chances of you losing some part of them, not decrease as you come to think
