Can gambling be profitable in long term ?

yes i think you can be a winner in gamble long term , but you have to handle the swings every type of gambling has a huge luck factor even poker in a seasion you can lose but in the long term you make money , so you just have to handle the swings and thats where i think most people start to lose money instead of gaining , when they get unlucky 10 times in a row they go apeshit crazy

You call how much bets or time as long-term ? I think if you call 100 bets as long term, then surely it can be but if you call 1,000,000 bets as long term with at least 0.0001 btc bet each, then surely I would say you cant profit in long term without being lucky.

A long term gambling can have a positive outcome indeed but it can still have a negative effect that is how gambling use to work it has a 50/50  chance that you can certainly win or going to lose, and not just depends on the move swings.

Most people always end up losing because the house always has the edge (more chances to win than you do even if only by 0.5%) so statistically, you always lose.
The only way to win is to make profits, and know when to stop, and use those profits to generate more money by investing in something.

Perhaps because being gambling site owner is more profitable than being player, but to be an owner we need not small amount to invest at least we need to hire designer and developer unless we can do it by ourselves.

You are right, with gambling you always need luck no matter what but its also that it can be profitable but you need a lot of luck for it.
Most people will not have this luck and will of course lose a lot, I think its best to not try it but you mostly will lose a lot only, only with poker there is a chance in my opinion.

You are right but he is not completely wrong. See actually some games are lucky to some people, like when I play plinko , I loose all my money in the blink of a eye, while when I play dice I often win and often loose.

Well, if you own a gambling site then you are not in the right thread, its basically for gamblers who gamble, I think some people can stay in profit in long term if they are luck, but its really very difficult.

It can only be profitable if you win. If you dont win it can be profitable. You always lose more money than you win money.

Trading is quite profitable in the long term if you have experiences in investing on the right altcoin. I invest on an altcoin(forgot the name), and I invest more and more for the coming months but eventually it was dumped after six months or so, IIRC. It was a good lesson, to be honest.

You are right and its also that you need some kind of luck to have profit because of altcoin trading, because it can get you in real problems if you ask me.
The fact that altcoins are not always trusted and can go down easily, so it can be very risky, keep that in mind.
