It is possible but only when you play games like poker that also require some skill and where you play against other players and not against the casino it self. That way you can make much money if you are good.

Gambling in long term is not profitable because there is a thing we call "house edge" where the longer you play the often you lose until you lose all your capital. The one that gets profit and lose nothing is the owner of the casino or gambling site because many people or gamblers think that they'll get rich from gambling but it's not but the owner of that casino or gambling site.  |

very likely that gambling can be profitable in long term. but with several conditions. you play is not always frequent, not greedy, able to control yourself, and always have a target. strategies and knowledge is also very helpful
yes its likely to happen in some case,people who love gamblng will play with good plan and stategy,its how they learn from loss and start rise with better won,and i'm sure outhere many people make profit in long term from gambling. but i never meet that people,anyone know who has that record? I also never found it, I myself it is difficult to always win or at least win within a week, it was difficult. because the gamble really depends on luck. |

Profitable.. for the house at the least. Because of the so-called house edge, one can never beat the house in the long run and the other way around happens. You will only get lucky in gambling for several times, but you can never beat the house in the long run.

It can be profitable in the long run but only with games that require some skill as well and not only luck. If you only play gambling games that only require luck you are not going to make a profit in the long run.

Gambling in long run can be profitable but it must be skill based than we have pretty good chance to make some profit, as i think sports betting and poker are nice format if we are willing to make good amount than it can helpful there.

When gamble with mind and with some limitations your chances of making money in every bet are high.It is true you can not win every bet always but still you can minimize your loss.Whether it is casino or sports gambling in long term specially chances to be remained with profit are more high.Other wise you can loose in short term as well if play under heavy emotions.

all i can say is all depends on luck, i know some people lose everyday but still they keep on playing everyday, because gambling became their hobby, i know some people to that always win everyday and also they keep playing and increasing they profit over and over again.
Yup! gambling will always depends on your luck it is very risky but many are still playing it because of the amount of money you can get when practically every time you win but it is hard to win in these kind of risky game and to profit in it! Yeah and also it depends in the game like me i am always bet and buy a ticket to choose the best digit in lottery to win a super large amount of money jackpot prize.. so i am still dream to hit it in lottery.. the bet every day is very low and i think it would not affect our daily financial.. in the lottery it will not affect you daily financial because of the small amount you purchase the ticket it is just a small amount but the amount on the pot are very large because of many people that are betting in it, and it is different from casino bets it is not the same it is both gambling but very different method of gambling! |

In short KEEP CALM. Keeping yourself and mind calm is a good way to limit your losses. If your calm you can follow the limit you set if you loss and couldnt keep on betting, chasing losses until your bankroll will left nothing. So keeping calm is important as you dont get carried away when lossing. |

It can be profitable in a long term but mostly this is not the case because gambling is depending on luck that you need.
If you do not have the luck to win you will not as a example win money so its really based on luck...

This is not possible, but now I am seeing that many people are making long term profit in sports betting. So I think it is possible but for that, you should be trained well in a game on which game you play betting. And you have to make some strategy here and fix one amount then only it is possible.

But theres gambling that requires skills and knowledge that we can get profit for short term or long term but it also depends in our emotions. maybe for an addicted person they can forget the feeling or forgetting their urge in addiction towards gambling but gambling can become a source of a problem for other people that are still not addicted to it and I think that getting addicted to gambling really is a start of their addiction. |

No gambling can not be profitable in the long run unless you hit the jackpot and win so much money but most people lose more money then they make with gambling.
That is just how it goes and you cannot change that, you will have to play by the casino there rules.

Yes gambling can be profitable in long term all you need is to have good control on your greed.You need to make often breaks after every profit or loss.What is clear is that heavy loss or profit both force player to keep gamble.These moments should be considered vital because you need to remain in.Keep eyes on long term and learn to be happy with small wins.
