Can gambling be profitable in long term ?

In my opinion, gambling can't be profitable in long term because once you win in gambling, you desire for more to win and you keep on playing which at last results in total loss completely or partially..

And of course the game you are gambling usually put you in a disadvantage situation where your chance of winning is less than 50%. So that is why trying to win from gambling is extremely hard as you are going against the flow of nature of probability. In fact, the more you gamble, the more likely you will end up losing.

Gambling in my own opinion can never be profitable in the long run because even gambling itself is a short term king however when one understand the trend then it might work for you short term but not long term beacusethats what it is.'short term'

No I don't think so because if it were the casinos would not make any money. Well it is true right ? Maybe some people have epic luck over long periods but that is very rare. Best not to rely on this for profits.

Even the lucky people will not be able to protect their profits in long run with gambling. Just one day (or some days), your luck might work for you to get profits. But in long run, your luck might turn and your profits too. I second your thoughts, we should never dependent on gambling for making profits.

Gambling is in fact to be judged and planned to get results in long term. When you have long term in mind then you will never play undisciplined gambling. I will say yes gambling can be profitable in long term that is my policy go slow and stay in the game for long term. If by chance being lucky at start get good profit better have some pause before start again.

Yes I think it is possible in a long term only if you calculate and analyze everything about your choose game.

If just like dice, slot ot wheel it is only based your luck, if you unlucky you will lose your capital

Yup! I do believe that there are people out there who's luck will surpass there expectation when playing gambling, that is why there are still players in these fields, and I think that many have actually profit in gambling but you can never tell if your gonna be lucky or not in gambling.

yes I agree, everyone has the same goal, which is to win every game. but they always say it for having fun, and impossible if they just throw money to get pleasure from gambling. because the fun of gambling is when we win.

Unless your bankroll is massive I so no because it is never consistent and if you have a massive bankroll you will only be using a very tiny % of your money which is best spent elsewhere if your object is to create good bankroll. Also you risk (even if it is tiny) a chance of losing everything trying to get back losses after a bad streak.

It's statistically possible in the same way that me randomly teleporting to the other side of the universe is possible(ie, the laws of physics allow it but it's so unlikely that for our purposes we can say it will never happen).
