But you can't compare the tournament that Djokovic organised compared to the US Open. The tournament of Djokovic was one with no rules: no social distancing, no face masks, ... At the US Open, they try to follow the guidelines.

Tennis should be one of the easiest sports to organize while following all the anti corona rules. You have 2 guys/girls on the field separated by net and a lot of free space. No contact at all. I don't think any of those players got sick on the field. All of them got it on after parties or came in sick. If we can have football and basketball matches playing tennis should be at least few orders of magnitude safer.
Now time for giving some good feedback to sports as lockdown already done some serious damage to many so this is going to be good change right now Djokociv won his second round match very easily and Tsitsipas is going to start his campaign as well for this years title as I am feeling if he could be ok then surely going to do some good magic.

So far a lot of the top seeds in the Men's draw are doing well, I was happy to see Alex de Minaur win in straight sets as I am a big fan of his. Stefanos Tsitsipas is coming up soon, I'll be watching him closely as I did bet on him to win the US Open @10 odds as Djokovic was too short for my liking even though he will be tough to beat.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

Good bet mate, it was a good match in the first set, and I thought that we will lose the first set, but unfortunately, he won the tie break and then broke him down in the next two sets.

Thiem and Djokovic will be up tomorrow against Nagal and Struff. I think Djokovic will have a tougher opponent here in Struff.

it is a good bet, but will not gone through, Djokovic will win this one with ease, i really cannot see anyone from these players beating him this season
maybe Covid could eliminate him, there is a question regarding immunity after having infection, but players cannot, IMHO, he will won this tournament

@casperBGD I’ll second that as Djokovic is in fine form, hence he should easily win this fixture and proceed ahead to the next round. Furthermore Djokovic has rented a house too for this tournament, and this is another reason why I feel that he’ll be more focused on winning the tournament, because now he’ll no longer be stressed about living in a small room given by the tournament authorities. Also what do you’ll think will living in small rooms effect player’s performance in this tournament, or will they be able to perform like they usually do?.

Quote

The cost? $40,000. The convenience? Priceless.

“As soon as there was a chance for us to choose to be in a house, we took it right away -- without thinking. I’m glad we did,” the top-ranked Djokovic said after improving to 25-0 this season and reaching the U.S. Open’s third round with a 6-7 (5), 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 victory over Kyle Edmund on Wednesday.

Quote

Most players competing at Flushing Meadows amid the coronavirus pandemic this year opted for the official tournament hotel options. The U.S. Tennis Association paid for one room for each player, who then would need to pony up if they wanted a second for members of their entourage.

Right now Alex de Minaur is fighting hard in his second round match against french man Richard Gasquet even after winning first 2 sets 3rd lost 4th already breaked by Gasquet look like he is tired or facing some sudden problem.

As usual, Tiafoe and Millman gave their all, a five setter, but eventually Tiafoe gets this in the bag.

Dmitrov is ousted by M. Fucsovics in another five setter. And Raonic, I thought we have a good chance to reach at least the semis is gone in the second round. Thiem dominated Nagal as expected.  Felix Auger Aliassime leading Andy Murray, gonna be a tough match for him.

Felix Auger Aliassime win the match in 3 sets, saw the match till 2 sets but truly not an interesting match.
For the next round, Thiem will face Marin Cilic this is will be a tough match for both.
In women sided, I just realize that the first seed out from the tournament, lose from Garcia.

To be honest, I have never seen any match for this US Open 2020, it's not that I'm not interested, just the timing though. Too bad the Andy Murray is out, nothing to take against Felix Auger Aliassime, but I wish we could at least see more of Andy. Thiem is leading H2H, although they've only face twice, but I think Thiem will take care of Cilic again. Although there are reports about Thiem asking for Red Bull, but was denied because the organisers doesn't what the brand to be visible as obviously, Red Bull is not a sponsor and doesn't want to give a free advertisement.

After first round match I was sure Murray is going to be some good stuff in this tournament but sadly Auger completely outclass him in 3 straight sets without any resistance now we have few very interesting matches as Shapovalov in tough competition agains local boy Fritz in third set as match is already level by 1 - 1 and we have some more matches like Zvereve vs Mannarino and Tsitsipas vs Coric.

I always look for value when betting on tennis and for me Djokovic offers no value at $1.60 so that is why I placed my bet on Tsitsipas at $10 odds and we just never know what can happen. Djokovic is currently in a fight against Struff and as Kemarit said it will be a tougher match for Djokovic so we shall see how it unfolds.

I was able to watch just the early matches and the evening sessions, and the pandemic kept me doing more activicities at home.

And I lost my bet on Murray, just a tiny bet  Smiley

It should be like that especially since the 4th set had several match points but unfortunately, he couldn't maximize it, the 5th set via tie break and Ćorić won the tie break and also the match.

I agree that he is fairly good in this tournament. But we will have to see how far can he go. He will be up against Fokina in the next round.

Djokovic already leading two sets to nil and up 1-0 on the third set against Struff, I guess he will be through to the next round. Ćorić will be a big test for Stefanos but I know he can win.  Smiley
Unfortunately, Tsitsipas wasn't able to hold Ćorić after winning the first set, they battle into five set and lost at the tiebreak. Cilic vs Thiem will be fun tomorrow. I'm expecting a five set as well, with Thiem winning a hard battle. While Djokovic will have another easy on Carreno Busta.

Sorry mate, Stefanos Tsitsipas just lost today. But I would tend to agree that the Djokovic odds is not worth it. However, the following could be a good and attractive odds to bet in sportbet.io

(a) Medvedev @ 6.42
(b) Thiem @8.79
(c) Zverev @14.56

De Minaur vs Khachanov will be interesting, I think Khachanov will have this one.
Shapolalov vs Goffin is another good match to wait for, and so is Thiem vs Cilic.

What do you guys think of A. Zverev?, I'm keeping a close eye on him in this tournament and it seems he is really doing good, much more relax than I've ever seen him (I do hope that I didn't jinx Alex here).

Djokovic already leading two sets to nil and up 1-0 on the third set against Struff, I guess he will be through to the next round. Ćorić will be a big test for Stefanos but I know he can win.  Smiley

Zverev is a very good player and it is only a matter of time before he will win his first GS.
Still, I think it's too early for him and that Djokovic is the biggest favorite of this tournament.
Struff had no chance against him.
For women, I like Osaka and Kerber.

De Minaur vs Khachanov is going on  Minaur won first set very easily and I was expecting this is going to be good for him but suddenly in second set he lost his touch and now Khachanov is leading by 5 - 0 have no idea what wrong happen with him badly down hopefully fight back.

Yeah its a shame that Stefanos Tsitsipas lost but as I said I always look for some value when betting on the winner outright to win grand slams. I don't bet a lot only $20 this time. I still think Tsitsipas still has a long way to go before he becomes more consistent in his matches. It was a great match to watch but I was on the wrong side. Roberto Bautista Agut losing today was a huge upset form the unseeded Vasek Pospisil, I wasn't expecting this to happen. I'll now be hoping that Alex de Minaur goes all the way, I think he has a great shot and the US Open does seem to be his best grand slam where he performs at his best.

Yeah, it's too bad that my boy lost early, but nothing to be ashamed of, he gives everything its that Coric dig deeper on his arsenal and Stefanos wasn't able to response, but it was a good match.

Easy match for Thiem, I will be rooting for Zverev now since Stefanos is gone. In the ladies, Kerber vs J. Brady and Osaka vs Kontaveit. I think Osaka and Kerber will win.

After down in the second and third sets, De Minaur finally won in the fourth set and also the fifth set.

Good to see Serena defated Sloane Stephens and advance to the fourth round, at his age now She still plays well, She will be a formidable opponent for the favorites of other champions like N. Osaka.
