Incredible game from Thiem today!
I was happy with him winning the match today and being qualified to the final. I want Nadal winning the grand slam and maybe Thiem is an easier opponent than Djokovic.

Probably. Theim did manage to beat Earlier this year. Straight sets, in Spain(Barcelona). I was expecting Nadal to dominate there as well, but Thiem surprised us all. Generally speaking, single hand backhand is supposed to be really ineffective against a heavy top spin as we have seen time and time against one of the best SHB players in Federer and how he's struggled against Nadal. Theim surprisingly is able to handle it pretty well. Ive got my money on Nadal in 4 sets though. Lets see how it goes.

Thanks for the report. After seeing the result and whether conditions during Djoko vs. Thiem match I had a feeling it went like that. Federer game is much more influenced by wind.

My bet on Thiem @2.95 is looking really nice. I'll check the odds on Djoko tomorrow and if they offer something like 3.0 for his win I will take it for the same amount and pocket a sure bet. Love when I get a chance to do stuff like that.

I watched the 1st set of Djokovic vs Thiem too. The wind played it's roll too here. Djokovic was having difficulties in his 2nd serve which he lost. I think if today it's not much windy then Djokovic will fight back.

I am off of betting in this tournament. Nothing went right for me so I thought to take a break from Tennis gambling.

You were smart to not bet on this match because it kept getting rain delayed yesterday and today was very windy which caused Djokovic returns to sail right past theim and go out.
Theim shots are so powerful I think one return was clocked at 83 mph and there was no chance for nole to get to it.
Novak look bothered and not his usual self since this match started.
They were both statistic wise the same coming into this match with the amount of wins and losses.
Very hard going into the match to know who was going to win as it took all 5 sets to determine the winner.
Tomorrows finals it will be Theim vs nadal.
I would just put some money on Theim since the odds are much better then putting it on the much favorited to win it.
Might as well try and win something substantial enough if there is chance for the contender to beat the clay champ.

Thiem is proving that he is a huge chance to bring Nadal down and win he's first Grand Slam, I just hope it isn't a repeat of last years French Open with Nadal winning in straight sets. I do think this time it will be different if Thiem hasn't spent all he's energy in the last match.

I'm very happy to see Barty win her first Grand Slam, she has been in super hot form this year and it was only a matter of time before she wins a major.

Roland Garros final has started and if you guys have a place to watch it go on and enjoy. This is some absolutely unbelievable tennis. It is 3:3 in first set and there has already been so much good points. Both guys are playing at the top of their game and if it continues like this, we have a match of the season on our hands.

Thiem has proved his potential play defeating Djokovic who leads the player table. Now in the final it is the day for Rafael Nadal who from the beginning taken the very seriously and has worked on the same. This has got him with the winning of the match 3-1. If I'm not wrong this is Thiem's second time to the reach the final.

Nadal has once again showed that he is the best player ever on clay by beating Thiem in four sets. At times Thiem looked to be in the match and maybe even push Nadal to five sets after winning the second set but it wasn't to be as Nadal won the third and fourth set easy without much of a fight from Thiem. I was close once again to winning my French Open bet on Thiem but Nadal is just too good on clay when it comes to this Grand Slam. Congrats to Nadal on winning he's 12th French Open title. Yup, it's a repeat for both of them. I thought that Thiem will really push Nadal because he has gained a lot of experienced specially betting Djokovic in the semis. But I guess Nadal is really above the competition as far as clay court is concern. That's good though if he is going to have a full rest leading to Wimbledon. I mean those guys are really 'old', needed their body to heal before heading in a big tournament such as Wimbledon. But it's going to be different, Djokovic, Federer is good as this surface so let's see how Nadal will prepare himself.

Federer will play Wimbledon for sure. That is his favorite surface and favorite tournament. I believe the bookies will make him the top favorite for this one. This could still change depending on results in tournaments leading Wimbledon.

I just checked Tsitipas history on grass and it looks very poor. The history quoted is from tennisexplorer page. It seems to me he looses the match on the grass as soon as he faces a solid grass player. I will skip betting on him at least in the beginning and give myself some time to judge if improved his grass game. I am not so sure that his game is suited for grass. Grass is all about the balls staying close to the surface (taking the time from your opponent) and Tsitipas often uses top spin ground strokes which rebound over the opponent shoulder thus making it harder to hit.

Nadal has only won 2 wimbeldon titles in his career while Federer had done it 4 times and Djokovic thrice.

Federer has won it like eight times already and not just four. It is his favorite surface and tournament so I expect him to make it to the semi-finals atleast. Fast courts does not really suite Nadal's playing style and he'll probably be out by quarterfinals. Djokovic is playing well so I won't be surprise if he reaches the finals again.

The down side to this is that the odds could come in a little but I think its best to see him play first before betting. But for me though Tsitsipas should really concentrate on grass court tournaments. With his height and quickness, he will better fit for those kind of tournaments in my opinion. He has a big serve. Nick Kyrgios? Nah, he is really unstable at this point, not putting any money on him. So let's see what will be the odds for this year, I don't know if there will be some long shot that can win the tournament as the top 3 is still going strong.
