The 500 barrier would not happen this year. Maybe in the start of 2016 but I hope it will take more time.
The rise from 320 to 380 and then 380 to 420 with small paces is recommended for stability.

cuz that may be one of reasons but it cant influence on price that high im hopping for 450 to be this year final price
you will spend lot of money on holidays like everybody so it natural that we speculate that price will jump

Yeah we don't really know if that hits this year, but if does I think that price will be go back around 480 dollars or 450 dollars.
For now is good price for bitcoins, for me I am just waiting for 2016 and what will happen there.

Actually it's fine for people like that if only people will say their speculation with support or basis and not just "yes it will reached $500" because the price increase up to $450 or "no it wont reached" because the price dip, let's say @ 400". So annoying.

Maybe yes. Here are some "possibilities" that will happen when the price hits $500;

- Others set their target high @ $500 range. When reached others will sold some of their coins  that will decrease the volume of pump causing price decrease. If that's happen = panic sell = so much price decrease.

- Others will continue to hold as incoming halving will take place next year and will think that this is the last time they can buy coins at cheap prices so no sell.

But if the first one happen, still we can see the resistance here because while price will experience dipping because of the panic sell many will acquired coins because of the second one that I stated. So still no price decrease much will happen even it fails to sustain at $500 range.

It would be nice for sure, but these times are very volatile, and that won't change any time soon. I am very happy if we manage to stay around the current price level for the rest of the month. Traders want volatility, that's when they make the best profits.

Yeah I am also happy how bitcoins is right now. I believe this year was succesful for bitcoin. In the year 2016 I hope it will be also a good year.

Nice so you see now the volumes performed by the bulls and bears are almost same in the last 12 hours. I used EMA when I want to make my own analyzation for going short or long but for normal viewing I used BBANDS.

if we can break it, we can potentially go much higher even before the year end, a tough call but it's possible, to have another unsubstantial increase toward 600 and then a drop to 500 that will look more rock solid

Yes everyone is so excited and thrilled as well to see Bitcoin hitting $500 mark and most of the predictions says that it will happen in the last week of December and again may be at the end of first quarter of 2016 price may drop down temporarily
