Will BTC reach $600 during the first month of the new year?

There is no way we are going to 500 USD this year.
But this is not bad. We had a great push this year, I am to settle for any price over the 400 USD

Looking how the whales have focused on getting to 500 USD, they will in no way leave that goal

Christmas has just passed and I think Santa didn't stop by the bitcoin market this year. It's alright though. I personally don't think bitcoin will reach $500 anymore this year.
I was really optimistic about bitcoin reaching that value earlier this month, I don't see this happening anymore. I'm aiming for bitcoin to reach $500 somewhere mid or end January.

It's already over. We finish 2016 less than 500$, it's obvious.
Positive sides: We didn't go back to 3XX's, we are still in 400-450 band.
Negative sides: 460$ and 500$ resistances are too hard to pass. Bitcoin haven't found a buy support when it came to resistance.

I agree with you about this resistance level, it is a strong one because it succeeded in pushing the price down several times.
But I think after the holidays, there will be more. Buyers to support the price up

Last weekend is the downtrend and you know there are many factors why the price dip during Christmas weekend but look how you see the resistance and support here. It doesn't bring the price much down. I will speculatenthat the price will bump up after New Year and we will back again for slow rise.

Well, at least, the downtrend of the entire 2014 to mid 2015 finally stopped. Heres to good hopes for 2016.

Even though the price today was increased for almost about +$8 it isn't enough to reach $500 by this year.
I hope that it will be reached by mid January, i know that now are holidays but still a slightly increase.

I think we will reach $500 during December, but the Christmas and end of year really has no effect on the price.

I think so too. January will be a very interesting month since it is the start of the new year. January 2015 was not that good for the Bitcoin price since it went significantly below $200.
