I believe IOTA plans to be listed to bittrex in the near future. I saw one post or something. If this is true, IOTA will be so powerful, and affirmed itself as one of the best coins ever.

IOTA is really fantastic, but technology is DAG and no new. And the world of Internet things like this does not yet exist. The price went up only because of the partners. Although for speculators it does not matter.

This is really not a big advantage.. Bittrex at the moment looks like the next exchange to get shut down... they have so many problems...

So, basically, IOTA "universe" doesn't offer more privacy or anonymity than Bitcoin by default, but if the users decide or ask for, some operations will not be "shared and recorded" excepted by some few specific nodes, interresting.
Frankly saying, this feature is not unique to Iota. It's based on the idea of payment channels ( http://www.tik.ee.ethz.ch/file/716b955c130e6c703fac336ea17b1670/duplex-micropayment-channels.pdf) invented for Bitcoin. When Bitcoin adopts the changes required for payment channel realization is another question. Revisiting this question now that they seem inevitable... How do BTC/LTC/etc. with LN payment channels stack up?

Don't leave any money/coins on any exchange unless you want to trade. Can not say this often enough.

It is stuck in the moment. Bitfinex does not accept new deposits and that is basically it. Binance still but I haven't tried that, account not verified and I don't want to throw big money into China.

Yeah, I was trying to transfer to Binance because Bitfinex not approving new address... Wel, if you think of it, this is really a gr8 way to keep price up... If you cant sell it price cant go down

Hi guys,
I'll be reading the entire thread as soon I get the time to, but until then I was hoping someone could answer me on a couple of things.
While many believe in IOTA, I see others who are very critical to it. Things I've heard are the following:
- The developers have written their own hash, which is a big no no when it comes to kryptos
- There is no decentralized product
- The tangle technology isn't new and the big problem with it is to get it decentralized
If someone knowledgeable and a believer in IOTA could meet these arguments, I would truly appreciate it.
I was also wondering if there are any other kryptos in the making that could compete with what the IOTA team is trying to do. Lastly I'm curious to how much you think this currency can grow in value the next 5 years, should it turn out to be successful.
tell us the source of your list, please.

Great vision given that Internet of things is just around the corner, but the IoTA wallet needs to be stabilised sooner than later

tell us the source of your list, please. Not sure what you want the source of? A swedish forum where these claims are being made by several people? I've read it elsewhere as well, but it's not like I'm saving the links to every post where these claims are being made. If you have the understanding of IOTA and claim that the above is false in anyway, wouldn't it be better if you explained?

IOTA is great thing. But not now. By now there are only promisses, poor wallet and 6h+ transactions time. Needs pumps to live.

100% agreed, the wallet and the slow transactions are a mess, also that a reattach is sometimes necessary at all. At this point of time IOTA feels like pre-alpha.
