An answer to that? I have a question regarding string to trytes conversion. Either I have a mistake or the Python library provided by IOTA has a bug. I suspect the first applies. I want to calculate the trytes of string "IOTA" and used iota.lib.py library to do it programmatically. I received SBYBCCKB. Then I did it manually. First I take the ASCII numbers of the letters. I = 73 O = 79 T = 84 A = 65 Then I apply the trinary based mathmatic formula to meet the numbers I = 73 = (1*3 0)+(0*3 1)+(-1*3 2)+(0*3 3)+(1*3 4)+(0*3 5) Thus trytes are 1 0 -1 0 1 0. According to the IOTA alphabet it is SCO = 79 = (1*3 0)+(-1*3 1)+(0*3 2)+(0*3 3)+(1*3 4)+(0*3 5) Thus trytes are 1 -1 0 0 1 0. According to the IOTA alphabet it is YCT = 84 = (0*3 0)+(1*3 1)+(0*3 2)+(0*3 3)+(1*3 4)+(0*3 5) Thus trytes are 0 1 0 0 1 0. According to the IOTA alphabet it is CCA = 65 = (-1*3 0)+(1*3 1)+(1*3 2)+(-1*3 3)+(1*3 4)+(0*3 5) Thus trytes are -1 1 1 -1 1 0. According to the IOTA alphabet it is KBHence my calculation gives SCYCCCKB whereas the python library gives SBYBCCKB (red colored parts differ)To complete the information I use the IOTA alphabet which starts 0 0 0 = 9 1 0 0 = A -1 1 0 = B 0 1 0 = C ... Where is the mistake, or is it just an error of reasoning? |

I consider it very friendly for IOTA towards a partner like Bosch to leak a buy-strategy of your partner to the Internet, so your partner can buy at higher prices after the crowd has already jumped in. Is that decent or am I missing something?
Bosch bought already before they are not stupid  |

Do you guys think there will be some kind of correction soon? The growth is ridiculous. A month ago the price for one iota was about 0.3 - 0.5 $ and now it is spiking already at 5,7$. This is crazy.

Although the price has leapt, it will leap higher after this Btc correction. |

I think it has already corrected to around $3 and if any good news comes out then it will high not low. |

It's hard to overstate the potential corporate interest in this project. It could be multiple orders of magnitude greater that the likes of Ripple. In fact it's pointless making comparisons with other cryptos. Iota is out there on its own, something unique that in a few years will be touching all our lives. |

the real game/value of IOTA will come once the wallet begins to work flawlessly and transactions getting confirmed in seconds without any issue, by that time $10/iota would become dream :-)

I would like to knoiw your opinion about this. What are the price prediction, if there is something about, for IOTA?

there is no way to predict the future, however, if everything remains in order, you can expect IOTA to be $20/miota by the end of December 2018 (may be before that), but again, it's just an speculation, and what I think and expect IOTA to go, nobody got a crystal ball to predict the future. |

Have you read those posts from those links you have posted us here? Seems like there was a bug within wallet itself, but tangle was okay and it seems to be fixed. Which mean there shouldn't be any more future problems regarding this issue. Please read and understand what are you saying before pointing fingers at devs. IOTA is still in BETA from my knowledge so invest visley if you are going to invest in it. |
