Carmelo in Miami would be great, he would actually get some minutes and they would actually not care if he does what he does, they are already tanking and they do not really have any chance at the title so that means Carmelo could play like he always plays and nobody would mind.
What That doesn't even make sense. Why would the Heat even want to pay a guy like Carmelo millions if they're tanking? Or are you saying they need Carmelo to drag them down even further? He must be kidding, Miami is a decent team, they almost get to the playoffs last season, if we are talking of the worse team here that could give him enough minutes, he should go back to his old team which is the NYK because they ended with the worst record of 17 (w) 65 (L). Yeah right, he should go back to NYK but I don't think he will sign again into that team coz we know melo only wants to have big bucks and not about playing time. That's the problem, we can make a big headline joke for this like " Melo Agreed to sign with the NYK but NKY did not agree with Melo" .. LOL Anyway, I know there will be good news soon for Melo, and that should be another team who needs his experience more and not being a leader of the team.

If that is his reason to play then I have doubt that teams will take him. Let's be honest, he is no longer in his prime so he don't have the bargaining power. He would be lucky to see teams offer him $2-$3 million for a year. As for NYK, he was given the chance there and they are now building a team which core includes the young and upcoming prospect, Zion. He could be bound to a team that somewhat needed some mentorship, who knows he may even be an assistant coach in the future if he wanted to really involved himself in the NBA.

he is still close to Lebron's abilities.
Melo's never been closed to Lebron in terms of stats and performance even back in their prime or let's say a few during Denver Nuggets days. Try to compare their stats or just look at their average how far LeBron to Melo. Knicks days, OKC days, Rockets days - never been closed to Lebron. If you are pointing today, I don't know what factors you have based. Spot-on. Melo had been dragged by the great players that is around him and that is why he looks so good too. Specially with his Nuggets years and Knicks. Lebron was different, he was the one who is making a lot of player be popular by letting them achieve their max potentials. Rodney Hood, Kyle Korver 3 point ability was seen more, and a lot of young stars. That is also why a lot of players have respect to him. He bloomed in his own and never made drama even if he is having a hard time pulling the Cavaliers to the playoffs until the Finals and never get a champ. That was some strong mentality for that guy. I guess it was because of the oranges. It is just unfair to compare him to Lebron. It is like comparing Michael Jordan to Charles Barkley which is not right.

But maybe it will went viral now because that news could be a support to prove that he was already on drugs even before. If the suspension was his first, then I hope he will learn from that as losing a career is like losing his life especially if basketball is his passion and his main source of income.
I don't think so that this video can go viral. Well, let's go back to the news again about the league. Anyone that who's been aware of this news lately? 76ers sign former NBA All-Star center Roy Hibbert for player development coaching role, report saysLess hype team and we'll see if this will give them a break this season.

Yeah right, he is not just the one who is a father in NBA. Lebron is, and so does a lot of players. It should not be the reason for him not making any good improvement hence, it should be his fire to make it to the top.

He will not fit with the Warriors because the Warriors are doing a fast pace game and they love to defend and share the ball really well. Melo is different, he loves to ball hog and if you search in google, you will see his name on it. FUNNY..

Not sure what role he is going to do with Golden State. They already have enough fire power with Curry and newly acquired guard D'Angelo Russell. Warriors second stringers consist of defensive players so again doesn't fit Melo. So its really hard to see which team are going to be interested hiring his services.

With the past 2 season record of Melo, no good team with a good chemistry that would acquire here, he will just destroy those chemistry and I'm confident Warriors will prefer to invest in younger guys who has the right attitude and are willing to play proving they fit in the team.

I don't understand why people think Melo still has that type of problem. I mean sure he had that for all of his career but dude is now like what 35 years old? Older? He has been basically waived from OKC because they thought he wasn't good enough, than Rockets cut him 10 games into the season and he never found any contract from anywhere else. Dude basically is not wanted in the NBA right now and he is definitely not liked so he could see that and he realizes that and he knows he made some enemies with his acts so he must be a bit better right now.
I am not saying he is a great basketball player at his age but we are talking about a top 20 scorer in NBA history, he must still have something in him and if a team bites the bullet and signs him I am sure the worst case would be him playing for another 10 games before team cuts him if he is still bad, but if he is not than he would be a great addition to any team.

Dude, finding somebody that is playing like a great player at his prime on player aged 34-above is rare. Kobe can showcase himself even though he's old during his last years in the league. LeBron is showcasing still and having pretty much good season last year, not the defense but his numbers are great. Melo is an awesome player, yes he became the number one scorer in the league once but I don't think he can still be that guy again(as per his performance when he was on rockets and thunder). He could be from the bench scorer. I mean that's the best role he could get. At least he said this to his interview.

It doesn't have to be number one player in any team, we are talking about the top 20 scorer of leagues history not making a 9-10 man rotation. Just like Melo once said its beyond basketball for sure, I mean its more about not liking his character more than his play.
Think about it there are 30 teams in the NBA right now and there are 10 players on each team that gets some minutes (except in playoffs which tightens to 7-8 man team) that makes 300 players right now, in the sense of talent do you really think there is 300 players better than Melo in the league right now?
He may not be top 10 or even top 50 for all I care but he is definitely a top 300 without a question. Hence I think this is more about not liking him for who he is and not because of his talents.

Problem with adjustment needs to be solve if he's still chasing his spot inside, showing that he can be a role player and not to ask special treatment just because he was then a big star from this league, Melo wanted to ends up his career playing and showcasing his talents so giving him another shot or space from any teams can make that happen. He don't want to end up his career that way. He just wants to step up on what he used to have before. He can't accept that the time has changed and he's not getting any younger anymore.

He just can't realize that. He have to humble himself if he wants to get in to a good team. He needs to adjust himself, it's sort of pride if he can't accept to himself that he had changed a lot for the past few years.
If he'll start showing humility to his teammates and the team itself, I think he'll be considered by teams who really are interested getting him.
That is the key. Humbleness. Being humble with synonyms of being respectful and submissive. If he could do that, then there wont be any problem for the team. Would you think that Melo will be a good fit to the Golden State Warriors? He is open to any roles that will be given to him and with the Warriors he can be a second stringer where all he need is to run and shoot 3's as the defense of the Warriors is their offensive game.
He might. If he change his attitude. His problem there would be Green and it will happen just like what it did with Durant. Maybe he could lead the 2nd team of GSW if he still want to be ball hog. But there is still the necessity of following orders.

No matter how great you are with each of your game. But once the player started to show that kind of problem, you'll end your career. The management shall keep if there's no problem within him. Of course any basketball players doesn't want to end their career in a bad note. However, Melo is sliding on that path as days go along. I don't know who is his agent, but pretty sure that he is doing his best to at least see Melo Anthony dance again in NBA even as second stringers, 5-10 minutes per game.

Melo is a star so we can expect that he has a good agent and we can expect that the problem is not the agent but he himself, his market now is really low in the NBA and he should live with with current value now. Teams won't get any good contribution from Melo if he only has to play 5 to 10 minutes, and he is no attraction anymore since he has not led his team to win a championship.
