Kobe was never really interested in who Lakers were getting at all, Harden and Lebron has been doing that for a while now, hell Lebron actually made sure his friends that he wanted to play with got huge contracts as well and he managed to make that happen too whereas if you look at Kobe dude played with likes of Smush Parker and Kwame brown because those were the people given to him.

Kobe didn't use that kind of influence even he have that previledge, knowing how great he was and how he love playing with great competitions he's been challenge playing with teammates that he needs to adjust, but unlike LeBron and Harden's who needs to keep choosing for the players behind them and not ready to adjust.

He have the talents and he showcase his greatness with whoever teammates behind him that's how he love this league.

But how about the Shaquille rumour though? That time there were news that Kobe ask the Lakers management to choose between him and Shaq? Let's compare what we are talking about here, Kobe wanted good team mates and demanded to be traded to some other team if Lakers couldn't build around him and never really did it even when he was playing with Smush Parker and Luke Walton, Kwame brown and so forth that was his team and he never left for 20 years even tho he said he would plenty of times, whereas Lebron literally got his agent to represent AD in order to persuade him to come play with him and got Lakers get rid of all the promising future players on their team for AD just because he wanted him to play there with him whereas Harden literally got rid of a top 20 of all time scoring guy from BENCH just to have more shots to shoot for himself instead of sharing with others. Those three things are not same at all.

Looks like he is following the footsteps of Mike Brown who is still the associate head coach in Golden State Warriors next to Steve Kerr.
Is it a curse in Cleveland? 

Maybe Tyronn Lue finds it still difficult to get respect from stars specially with what happened with him in Cleveland with Lebron. He is still young. There is no problem doing it, worse is he wont find any job and just watching games on television.

There are very few players who didn't used their influence at all, for example Tim Duncan was an all time great with 5 rings to prove it and I doubt he ever used his influence to meddle with the inner workings of the team or the roster, same with dirk Nowitzki or even maybe Dwayne wade until he was at certain age (before Chicago years).

He's still young and if he will take care of this issue same with how Kawhi treated his injury before, time and proper routine for this injury can give him a chance to comeback with much healthier conditions, and hopefully get his value back again.

 Cousins love this sports we seen him playing last season's finals, even he's not 100% healthy but he tried his best to play and show some lift to help the team to extend the series and to avoid a sweep.

He should say goodbye to million dollars contracts. He may get like hundreds of thousands the next time he heals.
Even if he shows a lot of skills there will be a lot of doubt within team managements. With all that injuries coming back over and over again and with his big body there will always be chances that it will go back.

Bad news for cousins and the Lakers, we've seen his value when his healthy and the more he experience more injuries, that will slowly take his confidence from him which he might not give his full potential.

The market value of a player depends on the overall performance in the past, but the management also considers if a player is prone to injury and cousins is, because he was already injured many times, but even wit that said, I'm also hoping for his fast recovery so he can do his passion again.

I admire cousins decision of gunning for the Championship instead of the money because maybe he got a plan that when he will become a champion and he showed up with the Warriors, his market value will increase, but it's just unfortunate that his expectation does not happen and even when he was still with the Warriors, he doesn't play a lot of minutes, still, due to the reason of injury problem.

Oh, Cousins injured again? I would say that he is on a big psychological and physical barrier again, he showed he can still play after coming back from an injury as a GSW. It was really unfortunate for him that we haven't even started the a new season he got injured so another long process before we can see him healthy (again).

First an Achillies injury then Quad injury and now an ACL. I am thinking the reason why he is having these injuries must be related to each other, when you are injured like that you try to not put too much pressure on that foot which causes all kinds of troubles and as soon as its "healthy" people think its back to normal but its not, its just as good as it gets and never 100%.

I know he has made a ton of money and maybe spent most of it but he must start looking to save up all money he can get from now on because he may have to end his career early, dude ended up with a minimum last year to prove himself and then had to sign another minimum this year to do that again and because of this injury there is a big chance he will have to do it next year as well, that is around 50 million dollars lost already so if he wants to survive (believe me there are tons of poor ex-NBA players) he has to be smart about his money because his playing days seems like it is either over or soon to be over because there is a huge chance he can't come back from this.

The warriors is not a big threat anymore, Durant was out of the team so it's just the same old Warriors that relies heavily on outside shooting but with good physical defense, they will not be consistent and I believe Lebron and AD can do penetrate in the inside which makes their teammates especially the outside shooters to become better.
