Hoho, just like what I predicted, not with the Pacers LoL, end of win streak for TB 🤣

And not only Lillian and CJ McCollum were being fenced out by the Pacers, they distracted them so much that it had the effect of making them miss their shots. Trail Blazers almost never had the lead the whole time and you can imagine that Pacers were feeling like bosses during the whole second quarter once they secured and maintained a double-digit points lead.

Poor Nurkic though, he got a fracture during Q3 and had to stop playing, according to ESPN. But Trail Blazers astonishingly managed to at least eat at Pacers' lead even without him.

Nurkic would be a big loss since he will be out for awhile.

For me, I disagree. Durant, Irving, and Harden are superstars. These players will be blamed instead by most critics if they fail this year. The pressure is on those superstars as everyone is now expecting good on them. And Harden just claimed that the Rockets is not the team he can win with a championship. Expecting critics will always revive that statement once they fail.

When Miami Heat formed a big trio, Coach Erik Spoelstra didn't receive much backlash even working as a coaching staff for long compare to Steve Nash, but the blame went to their superstars instead, Lebron James, which already has lots of critics, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. The same will goes if the Nets failed to win the championship this season.

Only the management can solve this problem, they have to ensure it will bring success to the team as they are paid with big salaries. Why are they complaining? how about doing their job that they are suppose to, stop this drama and stay focus.

I don't see it as a pressure on him. He's been in the league and also had the experience so handling this trio would give him a better caliber and coach to the team. Not a veteran coach?

He's good as an experienced professional player that has been in the league for so many years.

Indeed, but I still don't think this will be a big loss as they still have a good scorer on the team, and I wonder if Nurric will allow himself to be bedridden for a while. Quite long but not that he has an option 😅

I get that Kyrie + Harden + Durant "if works" would be a great team, however even if it works, I doubt it would be a championship level team and if it doesn't work out and they have problems? Nets lost their future for absolutely nothing.

Again, they are betting that the trio will produce multiple rings for them at least because it breaks out. So we will see if the gamble will pay off or not.

There is no assurance to this decision yet if they can really make it to the championship. But I do know it will be a playoff contender.
They could lose at round 1 if they can't build chemistry first.
Durant and Harden won't have a problem with that but I doubt with Kyrie.
Then, there is the awkward rejoining of Mike D'Antoni and Harden which just days ago Asst. Coach D'Antoni had been saying not so good comments about the trade. 
Celtics worked before and so does Miami with star trios. I think they can as long as they can contribute.

That's the norms of the game it's very unpredictable, and I'm telling you, even if you use some statistics, it will still not guarantee anything.

Oh I agree, but there is a reason I don't bet random totals on certain teams.  Number one, they get a big lead and then sit the stars in the fourth.  If I'm looking totals, I'm looking for more competitive games.  Prime example, Gonzaga mens NCCAB.  Last year, I banked on FH total and FG totals over - books never really caught up.  This year, have only bet Gonzaga twice to the over.  The trend is your friend is an accurate statement, better statement is the trend is your friend until the books adjust.

Yeah I wouldn't put any pressure on Nash at all. Dude will do best he can do, I see him as a very smart coach that will do his best, however the team is filled with some weird players, Kyrie is all kinds of screwed up we all know that, dude has been talking weird for 5 years now and he has done some weird things, latest was basically saying he doesn't wanna play and get out, he literally refused to play and that's it, never heard that before anywhere in my entire life.

Harden has just forced himself on a trade, dude looks like 500 pounds on his latest games, and averaged 17 ppg in the last 4 games, even if he works really hard to work with the team, dude already pulled some nasty stuff and I do not think he would be that great, and Durant is just a bitter superstar, he has burner accounts to attack his haters, he is not strong in mind type of person. So Nash has a very very hard job and I would take missing the playoffs as a bad coaching, as long as they make it to playoffs that would be fine.

I think Kyrie-KD-Harden trio will do awesome things together.

Just as you, many of us as fans think the same that this trio will add flavor to the team. At first, it was just Irving and Durant and we're already talking about how strong the roster of Brooklyn was.
And with the addition of another good scorer and an 8th time all-star player, the situation for their team just got better.

I do look interesting with Irving-Harden duo rather than with Irving-KD . A good ball handler plus having those penetrative drive in paint plus
having some good passes into a good 3-point or mid-line shooter? that would really be a good combination. Rockets had just lost their main star
but i would say that this is just a good call and Harden does really need some new team mates that would be mixing out into his capabilities or playstyle.

Whichever tandem will come out as a good tandem, this is now a trio and a team that will work together for their way to the playoffs. I wouldn't say about the championships yet but there's a chance that they can make it through.
I think it's a good decision made by Harden because the team were stayed for long although did well in the past, he has to do something to get out of his comfort zone and do something new.

Nash, as a head coach will surely talk to Kyrie. But the overall responsibility to talk to this tantrum player is the Nets management themselves. They gambled for this player and looks what he's doing. It's been a while since the Nets acquire a caliber set of players but it turned out bad. I don't know what Kyrie's problem but he is unprofessional and I agree with you, he's a toxic player.

I think they are preventing their families to worry about them.
They might be keeping this because they are already in the bubble and away from infecting more.
