Kobe announced his retirement in the beginning of the season and all eyes on him in every game. Duncan retired without any big announcement and that shows he's the better one both on and off the court.
he just wanted a quite exit but still a big impact to all of us fans of san Antonio we know how he leads this team and just being quite and not being treated as a superstar but for us he is our main man the big difference and the one and only tim who can dominate the board using his skills I really gonna miss him. It was very sad to see Tim go out. But it is insane of that wining 0.710 out of this world. Never wasnt a attention seeker, or anything. Just wanted to come in and do his job and go home. Love everything about Timmy D. On the court and off the court. We miss you Duncan. Duncan will be enjoying his retirement because he has a pretty girlfriend.LOL I just like to see duncan as he is a humble man that can play very well in the court, he should be called as legend as he has proven already winning many championships with the spurs.

Anyway, I believe duncan should be considered as one of the greatest play due to his great contribution in the sport while active.

This is very simple, kobe does want publicity and duncan does not need enough attention to gain popularization, pretty sure duncan is a great player and he will always be remembered. Well at least for some fans, they want an announcement so that they can give a standing ovation in Duncan's final game. They don't know that Game 6 of the NBA playoffs against the OKC is his final game. I think Duncan still want to play in the next season that's why no announcement prior to his actual decision has been made.

We just need to accept now and move on, duncan has made basketball fun to watch during his prime and he made a good contribution for the market of NBA to be more popular, spurs are still a strong team without him so we will still see a spurs game fun to watch.

Everybody accepts it 100%, why move on? lol.
Westbrook to Lakers? In my own view, not a wise move if it will done to a trade. They must sign him. Lakers will now be a group team now that Kobe already left. No superstar can control them and they can freely unleashed their true style of basketball.

is it true that Ray Allen will be on the Golden State Warriors this Season?! Wow! They team will be stronger than before. Im rooting for them to be the champion on this season. what? additional shooter for gsw? oh I wonder how they can defend the board if they will add kd and allen to their line up really can't believe how this things happen now from nba. They wont have any excuse anymore if they lose the next Finals. They surely needs to win the championship with such lineup or at least the expectation is. The splash god to the splash family. I'm excited to see ray allen to the gsw. It gonna rain some 3s. The GSW are getting a better team with every new player they sign because now with Ray Allen in there squad they are even scarier from the 3 point range. I am not sure how teams are going to be able to stop them but they will have to come up with an answer.

I was prepared my self so when Tim Duncan announced retirement I was upset but get over it. I thought he could play one more year because he didn't announce retirement right after season is over. He played 19 years in same franchise, why not make it two decades? I guess his body didn't let him. Arguably the greatest power forward in NBA history, enjoy your retirement.
He was not playing great the last season so he realize that he should retire, he is too fair unlike kobe bryant that needs to play to destroy the team, I wish him good luck. He's playing off a bit you can say that, guess Pop saw that coming too, Timmy's minutes this past season was the all time low by average. Gasol's acquisition sealed it off.

Even Duncan retired San Antonio is one of the contenders in West. They built franchise on Kawhi Leonard and Lamarcus Aldridge. We can say that Duncan - Parker - Ginobili era is officially over.

Their prime is already gone but they can still do some good plays that giving a door to their team mates to execute good plays. And their yearly stats is awesome throughout their entire days in the league (excluded also if there's an injury). And we see Tony Parker's performance in their finals game against the Canada recently and able to sealed their spot at Rio Olympics. Is this player really considered as old folk with his performance? lol.

Kris Humphries has agreed to re-sign with the Atlanta Hawks on a one-year, $4 million deal.he split last season between Atlanta, Phoenix and Washington and became a long-distance shooting threat.

I would agree that that specific area is over but Parker is still one of the top PG in the league. Spurs also signed Pau who is a better player than Duncan AT THIS MOMENT. So they improved there. Duncan is the best PF ever played. There is no doubt about it.

Are Tim Duncan and Kobe the most overrated players of all-time? I like Tim Duncan, he is a good guy, but man I don't see how this guy is a top 10 player in NBA History other than he was the one constant on probably the best run organization in pro sports for his entire career. The Spurs coaching and front office is more to credit than just Duncan. Look how Duncan settled into a bench player this year and had his worst year ever by far(still better than Kobe though ), but they STILL won more games than ever before in franchise history.

Duncan and Kobe both had golden paths to success, almost from the word go. Both are all-time greats, but I think Duncan is lower-end Top 10 with Hakeem and company, where "12be" is generous from an individual perspective. I don't think a case for Nowitzki can be argued against Tim, but against Kobe as an individual player... while I'd lean towards Kobe (and accolades make him ahead of him definitively all-time), a debate can be at least had there. He is not just a constant with the Spurs. He was the guy who made it possible for them to win five titles. I doubt if the Spurs would have won a single championship had they not tanked the year before he was drafted. He is such a quiet guy and shies away from the limelight that is why some people are finding it hard how great a player Timmy is.

If Rodman can join the Bulls, why can't Durant join the Warriors?
The Pistons and Bulls were practically blood rivals, but the Bulls traded for him because he filled a NEED... Not to mention the Bulls had three 20 point scorers on the perimeter( Averaged 20/6/5 in 94 with the Clips)

MJ was ruined by Rodman and the Pistons many times. Yet he signed off on the trade and welcome the rebounding champ with open arms. MJ new needed more help after choking the year before. 96 Finals proved that. Not the same situation as Durant.

its been a long years before rodman has been traded to bulls rodman went first to some several teams not coming from piston, yes piston is their blood rivals but rodman itself only respect MJ do you think durant also respect curry? just saying mate maybe you are still young.
