Probably Not a Good Thing for GS that LeBron is in Their Best Player's Heads Well that's until the finals, than Curry becomes the 5th best player on the team. Durant is LeBron's western conference D-Rose. Literally The King's very own toilet. GS is going to have Him in the back of their minds all season. Lebron James is the main reason KD joined the Warriors. Last year In OKC, He realized that even if he got by the Warriors, he gets Rekt by LeBron.. Yeah you can say that Lebron has always been the better one when it came to it during games but to be honest I also think that Lebron always a a better overall team then KD. Even tho that is no excuse because the OKC where always a championship contender. No one can question the skill of lebron and his heart for the game thats why he is successfall player that can brough up a team to win a championship wherever teams he belong and KD have another skill set and the only one he proves and achievements is to become the scoring champiob while lebron got almost overall award as nba player. Any teams is championship contender and all matters at the couch how he select a fit player for certain plays he wish to execute. You can day that any team is a championship contender but we all know that some teams are just not at the level then some of these other teams so you cannot really say that they are competing for a championship. Lineup alone, the championship calibers are the Warriors, Spurs and the Cavaliers and that's pretty much about it. There could be a surprise darkhorse though but more likely it'll be one of these 3 teams who will take away the ring.

I agree there isnt much competition out there to the warriors and Cavs. Although I think the Spurs, Mavs, Twolves, and Portland will be better. Unfortunately my Lakers havent done much but overpay for a mediocre player. Missing the old days when my team wasnt horrible.

maybe a lots of surprises will happen to this league I think all the teams from nba already been expect this things to happen so everyone stake from one trade to another, I think those big news about trading stars is been expected and those seems to be a low caliber might surprises us when the season started.

Adam Silver commented on the matter of KD transferring to the Warriors saying it puts too much imbalance in the league so they might have some CBA changes regarding super teams.
And yeah now they want a more balance lol. Silver expressed concern at the signing of KD which creates another super team. "I don't think having two super teams is good for the league," he said. "For me, part of it is designing a collective bargaining agreement that encourages the distribution of great players throughout the league. But on the other hand, I see those super teams will now be more pressured since most of the fans have lots of expectation from them.

Agreed on that. It would create a new sport, one where money doesn't control absolutely everything. So it will never happen :3

If the asssociation wants a balance league, these are some of the things they can go through... - minimizing the team's salary cap even those teams are big fish when it comes to salary offerings - revised the opt out deal In the current situation, the league has nothing to do if a player wants to transfer to his desire team whatever the goal, like Durant's case and any other superstar. So I see a minimizing the salary cap is one of the best thing to do "in case" they really want to balance the league. ..even if how good the warriors are but when the cavaliers are favored they can win easy.
Move on and discuss with the main line.

Everyone seems fine with older guys like Ray allen leaving a bad team and joining a winner to get a ring
Why cant durant just skip that step and try and get a ring earlier in life. I actually applaud Durant he would take less money and care more about winning.
I hate more when a big star goes to a scrub city knowing he cant win but wants a huge paycheck.
I somewhat agree but it is not like Durant is not getting paid much because if I am correct he gets 27 million Dollar. So he is getting paid much and I believe that he is going to get a championship. For someone like durant, he doesnt really need more paycheck on his pocket. He needs to get ring and retire someday in a style. All sportsman will think the same, paycheck is the second and the first will be glory and made the world remember him as part of the worlds sports' history

Let's stop with the rigged game. Even if they rig it in favor of Cavs the Warriors had so many chances in that last few minutes of that game. They just couldn't hit those threes so I wouldn't call it rigged. The last 2 minutes is still a tied game and the misses of Warriors 3 pointers caused them the Finals.
With regards to Super Teams in Jordan Era, players at that time are competitors as you can see with the way they foul each other. If you've seen the games in the 90s you know that those are not cheap fouls unlike today. Scottie and MJ has been team mates for such a long time and the movements of players changing teams at that time are less. There are less stars changing teams at that time.

Come on mate and just move on. NBA finals was ended for more weeks now. Refs don't control the hot hands of Irving and James. So please just move on and accept the defeat. CAVS really performed well and everybody sees that even for some GSW fans. That is not an easy win for them so learn to appreciate the CAVS effort to win the championship. And how come you said that it has happening even in 90's? So you think MJ is not that great because all in all he was just favored by the association? lol.

Increase maximum salary. LeBron, Durant, Curry, Harden etc. are all worth 50-100 million a year. Teams would have hard time keeping two superstars (let alone 3 or 4) if the NBA just allowed the market to decide a players value. Instead we have average and even below average players making 10m+ a year.

If Rodman can join the Bulls, why can't Durant join the Warriors?
The Pistons and Bulls were practically blood rivals, but the Bulls traded for him because he filled a NEED... Not to mention the Bulls had three 20 point scorers on the perimeter( Averaged 20/6/5 in 94 with the Clips)
MJ was ruined by Rodman and the Pistons many times. Yet he signed off on the trade and welcome the rebounding champ with open arms.
MJ new needed more help after choking the year before. 96 Finals proved that.
Not the same situation as Durant.
Jesus, these 2 guys obviously have zero clue about 90s NBA 1) Rodman played for the Spurs for 2 seasons before joining the Bulls 2) Rodman played a small role on the Pistons when the Pistons were beating MJ and the Bulls (and winning championships) in late 80s They had Thomas, Dumars, and Laimbeer! Hell, you could even argue that V.Johnson had a bigger role. Thinking that MJ CHOKED?? against the Magic in 1995 is purely ridiculous. AND THINKING MJ couldn't win (a) championship without Rodman is a joke as well. KD in the same sentence... please educate yourself

Back in the day so called superstars didn't wanna team up with another superstar, they wanted to beat them. Rules changed so much that I could easily say today's players are simply soft(er). hand-checking, no def 3 seconds, no defensive perimeter, etc. players like Irving would start crying after 5min if he was guarded by Starks or Dumars. General public, TV companies, and owners wanted more excitement, speed up the game, etc so they changed the rules.
