NBA had super teams all the time, it's not new. I don't agree with Adam Silver. There were Celtics and Lakers in 60's to 80's, Bulls in 90's, Celtics in 2008, Heat in 2010's and Warriors in 2015. You can't stop this at any time. Enough with the discussions already.

With regards to Super Teams in Jordan Era, players at that time are competitors as you can see with the way they foul each other. If you've seen the games in the 90s you know that those are not cheap fouls unlike today. Scottie and MJ has been team mates for such a long time and the movements of players changing teams at that time are less. There are less stars changing teams at that time.
Back in the day so called superstars didn't wanna team up with another superstar, they wanted to beat them. Rules changed so much that I could easily say today's players are simply soft(er). hand-checking, no def 3 seconds, no defensive perimeter, etc. players like Irving would start crying after 5min if he was guarded by Starks or Dumars. General public, TV companies, and owners wanted more excitement, speed up the game, etc so they changed the rules. That was back in the day however this is the new era and people love to see all the superstars gather in the same team and beat all the small fish down and meet another team full of superstar in the final game. That would be the most crazy match to be anticipated if you are really fond in basketball

How would you rank Jordan's and Lebron's Finals Performances?
It's obvious that the bottom three would be 1996 Jordan, 2007 Lebron, and 2011 Lebron. What about the other ten which are all time great performances?
1991 Jordan 1992 Jordan 1993 Jordan 1997 Jordan 1998 Jordan 2012 Lebron 2013 Lebron 2014 Lebron 2015 Lebron 2016 Lebron
Arrange them from best to worst and try to provide some reasoning.

2016 LeBron (GOAT comeback hands down) 2013 LeBron (Another GOAT come back agianst a GOAT team in the spurs..) 2015 LeBron (GOAT level effort with Delly as his second option Arguably should have won MVP) 1998 Jordan Then I don't Know.

Rumor has it that the Thunder are willing to trade Russell Westbrook to the Celtics, so as to avoid losing him in free agency. I am not sure if this is going to happen quickly, but maybe before the trade deadline after the All-Star break. With Durant's departure, I don't think OKC is just going to sit and watch their free walk away.

That was a huge mistake for the thunder if that will happen, I wonder OKC will not be fun to watch anymore, I don't think they will do that as they don't want to lose the market, that is a big lose on their part, they can still make it to the playoffs with westbrook on board.

I guess money is so sweet. Please exclude Dirk there. If he loves money he can go another team and still he can play like the old days. Hamilton, S. Jackson and Ray Allen must put an end in their career. If ever they can still play, I doubt teams will offered high offers to them.

Dumars and company would hand check the heck out of you back then and play "real defense" But in the leagues defense they had to do something. Games were 81-77 and boring as hell. Nba has never been more popular ever in the history of the game. I cant believe so many people are still talking nba in July. That never happens. Shoot normally people are talking NFL even in the nba playoffs. So they changed the rules to have a more exciting fast paced game and let the stars be creative and have more offense. sucks for people who liked old school lock them up defense but its been much better for the league as a whole.

Salary space for CAVS are just enough and they can't get any superstars in their roster unless for a multiple way trades or that superstar will accept an average amount of salary. And CAVS is an all around team. They don't need much those player who are only capable in one spot like three points area.

Cavaliers should be a legitimate team to win the championship this season although I believe that it is the warriors who is the heavy favorites here, with lebron as teammate you will be ensured that your team will fight until the end just like they prove in the last season.

Lebron has had some really bad finals series that is part of the reason why he has lost more Nba finals in his career. The first time he lost he could not do a thing but when he went to Miami and lost to Dallas that was poor.

Hmm. If he's re-upping here long-term, he's most definitely worth both Brooklyn picks and pretty much whatever roster players OKC may want. Sam Presti isn't a guy who is going to let himself get fleeced by Danny Ainge so the haul he's going to get back is going to be nuts. If Danny could somehow pluck Adams or Kanter away, I might shit a brick. Unlikely that happens, though.

If the Cs were left with Avery Bradley after I would be happy and if they still had Isaiah Thomas I would be amazed.

They have signed ZaZa Pachulia, he's not a great player but it can fill up the lack on the center position. The Larry sanders to gsw didn't went well.

Speaking of Larry Sanders, whatever happened to the guy, by the way? He was a monster when it came to blocks and rebounds. Won me a lot of fantasy games with his high efficiency type of game. Last I heard of him he was into recording, which was after he was suspended for use of "recreational" drugs.
