That's a no bearing game and the record is not important to them, I think the public loses on that one. He we go again, NBA is coming, I should start to save money for gambling, I just can't help my self but bet on sports.

Pre-Season Game between Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors Didn't able to watch it live since I don't know where to watch pre-season games lol. On other game, My fave team Dallas Mavericks fall to New Orleans Hornets, 102-116. Nowitzki is not present at the game. In pre season game most of the time they just keep on playing without any real strategy at all basically to hide their true strenght against their rival. However this could also be a standard comparison on how will they perform when the season start , Im going to expect more of course for the season matchup

As usual Klay Thompson is the highest scorer for GSW but looks how horrible his 3 pt. attempts made. But yeah that is just a pre season. About Dallas, yes aside from Dirk also Matthews, Williams, Harris, and Bogut are not present in their pre season game.

We will see in the start of the regular season if Durant can really perform as expected from him.

Pre-season is important especially with a team that has new players on their roster. In that way, no such thing as adapting the environment once the season has started. They don't mind winning or losing since the main concern is the one I stated.

I agree with you. This also the time to showcase their rookies if its really belong to the league or some free agent trying to get a contract for their team.

Even though it's only a tune up game isn't it that they need to take it seriously too? That is their chance to see how the chemistry of the team will go for the whole season specially they have a new member in the team instead of taking it easy and let it go. I heard Kevin Durant got booed on his debut as a Warrior.

This is what pre season matches are for, as a pre heat for the real game and as an indicator wether or not the player is in shape for the next season and moreover for the team to actually see if their strategy is working although they are really not showing it all

Teams of course are just trying to get their players get back the feel of the game after off season. You wouldn't want to have scouts gather information and have teams be prepared for you when the real thing starts would you? :p

Yeah the pre season game says nothing to me because they are just trying out some new things and nun of them are giving it their all. It is all practice until the regular season is going to start again then we are going to see who will do what.

Usually pre-season results are an opposite indication of how the team will do in the actual season. I've seen countless pre-season with completely mediocre teams going 7-0 or whatever and then they get a 30 win season record... Pre-season is about trying things, getting to know new teammates, etc. With that being said, the Warriors won't win anything this year.

I don't even think Golden State is going to make the Finals this season. They gave up a lot for Kevin Durant, who now has to blend in with Curry, and who like Curry chokes in big pressure situation. He's also very mentally weak, joining the team that beat him in a, "If you can't beat them, join them."

100% agreed. Plus the NBA season is grueling and endless with 82 games and plenty of back to back ones. Both Durant and Curry are very fragile players, I don't think both will be healthy by the finals (Conference or NBA), that's just my hunch. Many teams and crowds lost a lot of respect for them as players and they will bring their A game every night. You mentioned the team depth and that's also a major concern in my opinion, they have an allstar starting lineup but if you take away either Curry or Durant (even Green if you will) the team looks very shaky to me...

That's the other thing. Curry has no stamina. And that affects him in playoff where teams give much more effort on the defensive end. And you have everyone switching on him, forcing him to guard who ever is attacking the basket.

Ben Simmons' fractured right foot will make him sit out for at least 3 months. But there are rumors that he might not play this upcoming season for his recovery purposes, I don't know if this is a tanking scheme again by Philly or it is for Ben Simmons' secured recovery. Now who will win rookie of the year? I say Kris Dunn has to be tha favorite after Ben.

That's a very sad news for the prospected rookie of the year, I think he will not play for the entire season like what happen to Blake Griffin when he was injured, anyway there are still good team to watch, I am more excited to watch the warriors this season.

If he is not playing for this season then he is going to ruin his carreer. He should be included in this season as recovery for such injury is not going to prevent him from trying to be the MVP for his team this season. Too bad that unfortunate thing happened to one of the best rookie when he is still on his top form
