Tony Parker's departure from the Spurs is not a big deal anymore so even he left, it's not much of a loss right now. He is closed to retirement and he already gave what he can do for the Spurs. Just feel regret for other fans because it's way better to see him retire as a Spurs.

Is this has something to do with the Kawhi Leonard trade?

Time to move on though. As for me, I can't imagined him wearing another NBA team's jersey.

Me too, he is one of the face of the Spurs and i would be happy to see him retire as a Spur.

A lot of rumors now. It could that it is Parker and Kawhi that are having problems within the team. If I am mistaken then they might let Kawhi go also and look for a fresh team.

But I doubt Pops want Kawhi out. They still want a stronger team with younger ones.

Parker's departure is pretty much on the same level as paul pierce leaving boston. They've done everything already and their jersey's will be retired by their long time teams anyway. Not sure about the kawhi drama though. It's taken a long time now and is likely far from a conclusion.

The trade of Parker to another team doesn't impact much now as he isn't playing that much this season and yet they clinched in the playoffs. I wish when his contract with Hornets is over, he and Manu will retire.

For me, its better for Kawhi to be in another team rather than the Spurs. If he will stay there, it will be like Cavs last year and he will be doing all for the team.

I think Kawhi really wanted to get out of the Spurs. It was really evident when he didn't suit up for the playoffs eventhough that he is really healthy as per team doctor. And Pops will not be in the way if his players wanted to be trade. It wouldn't be a healthy relationship if management of San Antonio will insist Kahwi to play offer him money he can't refuse but his performance will be below par.

This guys will retire at 40 and will live for another 30-40 years. They need enough money for that. If they do business then it will be good if not then that money they earned their whole career could end up zero. There are a lot of taxes to be paid considering they have lived a life of luxury and expensive items.

Exactly, the golden state is ever getting richer in quality players and I don't think Chris Paul alone can mobilize his team to beat such a talented team. Had they been in the Eastern conference I would have backed them to beat the cave to the finals but with west GSW is too dominant.

The Rockets have lost Trevor Ariza and Luc Mbah and now they went from having 2 quality defensive players to be able to put them at KD and Lebron James.they should be  to looking tot Melo and Green as their SFs. Doesn't look good for them trying to get back to challenge the Warriors again. if they get Melo they definetly improves their offense since he's still a force if used right, but defensively KD and LBJ will basically get whatever they want.Also, I would be careful of putting all my chips on Melo just yet. He didn't have a great relationship with D'Antoni, so it will have to be a good sell. He can still get to lakers at the end but it's better then getting Anthony Carmelo they should just take Melo at the end because there is no better alternative at tis time.

I don't know about the Lakers though, we haven't seen the chemistry of the team. Yes, Cousins is a big addition to the GSW I agree, but what I'm trying to say is that CP3 being healthy can somewhat change the complexion. I'm sure that he is really disappointed last season. But if he returns healthy and Harden because of his MVP will continue to show his talent, it will be a very competitive again.

I don't think so, Lebron's playing style with the Cavaliers will be carried to the Lakers. It will be his team now just like the Cavs before. They will adapt to James style of play and not James adapting to the system of Walton.

The bad part about bandwagon is that you can follow the best team, you can follow the worst teams and they are all common. I follow freaking spurs, they have always been great, they are a well run organization and I think it will always be one of the best teams in the league. They never missed playoffs for like 20+ years straight as well.

And regarding Lebron not playing like the Cavalier style is highly possible, I know the kind of a player like Lebron, he is flexible in terms of playing his role. If this Laker team would gel together, they will be a solid powerhouse team. Rondo is a true point guard, while stephenson could help with some defense and the future allstar young bloods. I guess if the Laker wants to add pieces on their roster, they better pick a lock down defender.

Interesting fact. Actually it can give them advantages as Lebron can be more relax seeing his draft mate being his coach. They can talk freely and he can give input to Walton to make big improvements on the team. I don't think that there will be also intimidation as Walton used to play with another superstar during this basketball stint. - Kobe Bryant.

They already had in McGee and Stephenson . What they need are bench players which can fill the gap when the starters sat down. Wingman are also a good addition when they want to get their game going.

The lakers certainly have beefed up and can be considered as legitimate title contenders but i think luke walton would have quite a hard time calling the shots. And then there's lavar as well causing quite a distraction.
