In the other news, Zion Williamson will sit out last preseason game against NY Knicks due sore knee.He is only 19 yo, i hope that Pelicans won't push him too hard in his first season, you gotta be careful with these kind of players.
Whether he adjust his playing style or he loses weight. His knee will not be able to withstand the pressure of the regular season if he keeps playing the way he does with his current weight. I do not want to see him turn into a top pick bust just because of injury. I want to see his full potential and what he can bring to NBA. Check this video on why Zion has a high risk of injury. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGRnMIRCtDUhere's the specific content. Luol Deng signed a one-day contract with the Bulls on Thursday to retire as part of the team for which he was a fixture for 10 seasons. Kudos to the Bulls for doing this.

I am pretty sure the Pelicans already understands that and if he will not play its full potential the pelicans would not get the full service from him. All the teams who get the number 1 pick has a high hope that it will take the team to the playoffs and will remain to be a contender, so limiting him might not help the purpose.

I'm not a total fan of Deng but I admire how he plays and how loyal he was during his Chicago days. Now that he would come to retirement, it's pleasing to see him retire in his home team which drafted him. Chicago bulls is a good institution and Deng is lucky to have to retire in a Chicago system.
Actually, Phoenix Suns drafted him but he was traded immediately to Chicago Bulls because of draft rights. I will never forget this guy as he is part of the famous Bulls trio back then together with Kirk Hinrich and Ben Gordon, before the arrival of Derrick Rose.
I think this is the first time I saw such an event where a team made a 1-day contract so that a player can retire to their preferred team. Nice moves by Chicago Bulls for allowing this. Oh yeah I remember that time. Ben Gordon was really awesome at those times and with Hinrich outside while Deng also spreading the floor. They are a small roster but they can really entertain people. Respect for the Bulls management. Not every team could do this since they will think it will be a waste of spot. They would rather take another bench player than add one just for commemoration. One of my worries up until now. That body of his really needs some cut in weight. That is also why I am rooting for RJ instead of Zion. Yes he got the confidence but RJ still got a lot of room for an upgrade.

Right, all they should do is on how to strengthen that knee to avoid brutal injury. 82 games in the regular season is not a joke for an NBA players. They should consider prioritizing their health if they want to have a long career. Just like LeBron, Zion Williamson should have a routine for himself to be always on top shape Everytime they play and avoid injury.

A bit off topic I guess. With the upcoming retirement of Luol Deng. Who's feeling a bit sad here that our childhood superstars are retiring? I won't mention the other superstars that have already retired but many of them are part of our childhood. Sorry for bringing nostalgia to this thread.

I watched him play but he is not really a superstar so it did not mark a lot to me. Maybe if Lebron will retire than I would feel sad because we know he is the king in the NBA and he has a lot of fans although he also has a lot of haters.

What do you think about this article? https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nine-bold-nba-predictions-for-2019-20-season-joel-embiid-wins-mvp-zion-williamson-becomes-all-star/1. Joel Embiid will win his first MVP award 2. The Warriors will make the Western Conference finals 3. Zion Williamson won't only win Rookie of the Year -- he'll also make the All-Star team 4. Bradley Beal will finish the season as a Denver Nugget 5. Chris Paul will finish the season with the Thunder 6. Andre Iguodala will end up back in Philly, not in Los Angeles 7. The NBA will outlaw hair bobbles 8. The Toronto Raptors will keep all their veterans and earn the No. 3 seed in the East 9. The NBA will set a new record for 3-pointers ... and traveling calls Which of the above prediction you think will likely to happen?

Luol Deng was one of the best piece in the Chicago Bulls, who competed with Lebron in Miami. He became a superstar twice and was included in NBA all defensive 2nd team. He didnt get too much attention and was underrated because of D Rose's presence in Chicago. He's like the Lamar Odom of Chicago, remember how Odom became a perfect complement for Kobe?

2020 NBA TalkLet's talk about 2019/2020 NBA regular season here.
-Archive- 2019 NBA CHAMPION Toronto Raptors Finals MVP: Kawhi Leonard
**
2018 NBA CHAMPION Golden State Warriors Finals MVP: Kevin Durant
**
2017 NBA CHAMPION Golden State Warriors Finals MVP: Kevin Durant
**
2016 NBA CHAMPION CLEVELAND CAVALIERS Finals MVP: LeBron James
Two of many of the predictions that will shape the trajectory this season are - the offensive mark stays intact, but the defensive line ups may fall apart. Among Cavaliers, Hawks , Suns , Knicks , someone will do worse. Also watch out for Brandon Clarke, the rookie from Gonzaga who looked like a steal from the draft with his dominance in the summer league.

He was a good player but I don't think he is one of the top class players. I'd say he's a star but not a superstar. He was 2 time All-Star, that shows his value. His retire is a loss for NBA, he was only 34. He could've played 2 more seasons but that's his choice. I feel like we are getting older as my heros retired already. Iverson, Carter, McGrady, Kobe, Duncan, Nowitzki and all other early 2000 superstars are already gone. The game changed and evolved, but I think 90's and 2000 basketball was more fun to watch, more competitive and tough.

I think the this one will likely to happen, warriors are going to the NBA finals beating the Clippers, Lakers, and the Rockets as the favorites in this season. Without Durant, it's not gonna be easy for the Warriors but curry being curry, everything is possible.

same with this youtube vid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4uL3YRDcokI was also looking for a video where Leonard steals the ball from Luca while he is dribbling and made some easy shot in the other end. Luca is good but he still has a lot to learn before he can beat Leonard, the Dallas Maverick now are a fun team to watch as ponzingis is already healthy.

During the Pre-Season which has been going on for about 2 weeks, quite a lot of players, especially Rookie, are attracting attention. In addition to Top Draft Picks such as Zion, Ja Morant and RJ Barrett, there are also Rookie who showed quite surprising performance, for example Jordan Poole who was taken by GSW in the 28th draft pick did not play like a Rookie during this pre-season , then Brandon Clarke from Grizzlies had become the MVP Summer League still shows its ability as a Rebounding Machine What do you think guys? Is there another Underrated Rookie that has the potential to become a Steal of the Draft?

Maybe both of them just wanted to display their shooting or what, but what matters is the regular season and see how they going to really blend. West is bundled up so it will be interesting as to where they are going to land in the standings.

How should I say it coz uhmm.. I’ve high hopes with what Luka Doncic skills that he have and with a healthy now Kristaps Porzingis that can definitely enough to make in the playoffs, but let’s see how they’ll play in regular season and I rather want to see that they likely to continue dominating each of their game.

I research some article about the playoffs ranking in 2020 and found this one. https://lwosports.com/2019/10/06/2020-nba-western-conference-playoff-predictions/Based on its ranking, 1. Los Angeles Clippers, 2. Denver Nuggets, 3. Los Angeles Lakers, 4. Utah Jazz, 5. Houston Rockets, 6. Portland Trail Blazers, 7. Golden State Warriors, 8. San Antonio Spurs Dallas was not included so they are an underrated team and it would be a surprise if they will make it to the playoffs.

Probably you didn't watch him more playing basketball. He's one of the players that even match LeBron James when James was in Heat. He went back and forth to many teams but he's a great player. Kudos to the dude that played almost 10 years with Chicago Bulls. And let's just thank Chicago Bulls that welcomed him with open arms so that it'll be the last team he'll played for.
